Heres another powerful tip to get cheaper insurance on any car (and even get insurance on more bigger and powerful vehicles). If you have any family members that have provisional licenses, put them down on the main policy list along with those with full licences). I was able to get insurance on a CLA 45 and even a golf r for reasonable prices by doing this whereas before I wouldn't even get a quote. Hopefully this helps anyone looking for insurance on their car!
How can u have an issue if someone’s using their dad’s money he ain’t stealing from his dad is he. Just cuz ur dad left u don’t mean u gotta cry about other people enjoying what their dad worked for

Good video. I used to have a corsa vxr which was unreliable. It was £800 a year as a 21 year old someone crashed into me and now it's 2,400 And my nissan micra is 1,200 as a 22 year old. Odly i found a copper s r53 which is supercharged stock to be just over £100 more and a toyota celica regular gt to be about 1,100. I will try the jobsite trick thing though I'm self employed. Tempted on keeping micra and turboing instead of buying a new car
@@ItsCDB mine is only a 1 litre though could be worth a cg13 swap tge 1.3 micra engine keeping the 1litre flywheel and gearbox pushes the 0 to 60 to 10 seconds which is not bad for a 1.3 na. If I want to be really crazy I can put a sr20 from a nissan silvia I heard it will fit. I don't think my parents want me changing the engine. Not sure if tirboing a 1litre is worth it plus its alot of money to spend fitting. Insurance would probabbly be another thing. Though putting a turbo on might increase its value so it will kind of make up for it I guess
It’s a bit cringe though considering most 18 year olds have to buy and insure their own car. He clearly hasnt bought it himself and parades it around like he is the bollocks
I will always recommend a Corsa E! They are elite cars you can pick a 2017 one up for around 5k I have made loads of videos on my old one and I loved it!
@@ItsCDB so how much is your insurance, because "cheap & affordable" is all relative to someone's circumstances and opinion. Also fyi, the 235i and 240i are essentially the same car. The 240i was the facelift later model with the newer engine, but it was still a 3 litre turbo.
I got the car on the cheap tbf it was never in my plans but I found a good deal on one so I couldn’t pass it up. I also do a lot on social media along with savings from other things and selling my old car is how I was able to afford it. Though it was REALLY stretching my budget 😅
@ggwoods5684 as did I mate, believe it or not as a student you can have a part time job where I worked my a** off for 2 years to be able to afford the car

It dont matter what the insurance is when you dont pay it. Full time student with that car, defo daddys money...

number one tip to get lower insurance is not to be an engineer as you will pay double what you will pay if you put sales assistant or sumn

I’m 19 years no claims n I can’t even insure a 330d xdrive
being a student automatically makes it cheaper as it is. It'll probably go up if you change it to full time employment.
tried these my quotes went higher to 29 grand been driving longer than him too 👍
