Yes, the 2nd song was the early version of "The Girl I Love, She has Long Black Wavy Hair." Zeppelin always experimented. Until Robert locked down the lyrics. He would literally write the lyrics while the band was playing. Also, James Patrick Page is the greatest guitarist ever. I will die on this fucking hill!
She's def a real "Heartbreaker," a great mix of geek and rocker! Love her love for Zeppelin, plus she's got some fun Other Stuff here, like when she reads "thirsty" Craigslist ads, for ex, lol, or her recent "Butt Rock" post, which I need to check out as well. Love her Jimmy Page Outfit Tier Rating kinds of things, too!
They live out loud in the Blues…one of the best blues bands that were around! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 That’s Mr. Plant on the Blues Harp aka Harmonic, for the unwashed? 🥴
That sounds cool, and you sound cool. PS. Graduated 1971. I was a short haired strait laced jock. The stoners and us jocks didn’t really care for each other. Fast forward a couple years to 1973. Just became friends with the stoners. They introduced us to weed and they took us to the San Diego sports arena to see Led Zeppelin. In the parking lot they introduced us to Orange Barrel Acid. By the time I walked into the arena I was tripping so hard that I had no clue why I was there. I followed the crowd. House lights were on and I was getting higher. Why am I here? Wtf. Kept walking until metal barricades stopped any further progress. Why did walk the wrong way? Damn I turned to start trekking the other way. Now I have chills and everything was, how do you say, trippy. A pretty girl with flowers in her hair gently held my elbow stopping my plan to walk the other way. She shook her head ‘no’ handed me a joint. Cool, but why am I here? Then bam!!! House lights off, spotlights on. Robert Plant was 10’ in front of me singing, “been a long time since I rock and rolled” Fuck me! The show was other worldly. Houses of the holy tour, exactly like their MSG 73 show which I’m sure you’ve seen. Dam I’m glad I became friends with the stoners. And I’m thankful for pretty girls with flowers in their hair.
Wow! crazy story. to be a girl w flowers in her hair at a zeppelin concert would be a dream come true. funny how there’s different groups in high school…seems as i get older that is still a thing….why can’t we all just get along! just need a little psychedelics and zeppelin and it can become reality 😂 thanks for watching!!🖤
Both '...Wavy Hair' and 'Sunshine...' are rock-blues. The harmonica or blues harp is a compact wind instrument based on moving air using one's own breath through enclosed spaces blah blah blah. Didn't mess with it much 😊❤
@mmoooosh you're very welcome, for your presence in the reaction scene as well as your thanks for my viewership. Hoping to find more in my feed. You do you, obv. ✌🏼😉🎶❤️🍁❤️✨️🐬🕊
you're weird alright... but not annoying. Nice brief intro and obvious genuine appreciation of the magic of Led Zeppelin :) Nice plug too... don't be dirty... Ima check out "rarities" thanks
Hey, Moosh, very enjoyable reaction, thanks for the cool share. Dang, I gotta do better to keep up with your posts. Like, I still gotta listen to "Part 1" of this "Zep Rarities" from last week, but I'll comment here for now, as I don't know if you guys (UA-cam reactors) are even alerted to comments about vids from A While Back. 1) Never heard this version of "That's the Way." I often muse that maybe I'll ask for one of my "Funeral Songs" to be the BBC version of it, where Robert gets his tambourine on at the end, and there's such a beautiful moment at 3:20 when he sings "...stand and cry..." and JPJ just coaxes audible drops of honey out of his mandolin. Plant's voice was also deep that night from the flu or some shit. But if I do decide to use it, it may be considered "right" for a funeral. Or, I dunno, it may not. One thing's for sure: I won't be giving a fuck. Speaking of "That Day," I dig that "Danse Macabre" shirt you're rocking! 2) So cool you grocked the "Wavy Hair" resemblance to "Sunshine Woman." I can hear it. I love the energy Bonzo brings to the drums here. Beatin' 'em like they owed him money, etc. Funnily enough, on another one of my fave reaction channels, "Airplay Beats," they heard "Wavy" (gobsmacked, of course--they (it's two brothers) turned into Zep freaks from their first taste of "Whole Lotta Love," lol), and someone in the comments said that "Wavy" was basically an early version of the riff for "Moby Dick! So there's that, too. ;) 3) I heard at least a couple of really neat never-noticed nuances in Robert's SIBLY isolated vocals there, very cool! And yes, "LZ Rarities" is SUCH a cool channel! I have not come close to mining its gold yet. I mean, I'm a gigantic fan, and, like you, they're "my group" and all, but man, when I reflect on what some of these cats out there have going on, I realize on a 1 to 10 I'm like a 7.5 in devotion, lol. You likely also know of "Led Zeppelin Boots," the premier LZ bootleg hookup on youtube. "Heart of Markness" is also a fun LZ chan. Dude gets high AF, spins their bootlegs, and free associates about the band for an hour or two. (He may have said "I'm high" once -- I just ran with it). As usual, Moosh, I have by far the windiest comment on your page! At least it's not as manic and silly as some of the previous tapered turds I've dropped 'round here, lol. You said you enjoy my rants, so, well, whaddaya expect, LOL? Oh, and I can't sign off without praising what a damn treat your lip-synching to SIBLY was! I frowned a little "Aww!" when you announced "OK, I'll stop," and then I did a little fist pump and laughed "Yes!" when you ignored yourself and kept going, haha! All right, Peace!
@@mmoooosh Haha, right on! There're a few select ("Lucky"? Hmmm...) channels I let my free associative blabbings loose upon. Kinda a when the Spirit moves me sorta thing I guess. Like a full moon, they can be bright and intriguing, but like Big Luna, also a bit much, so it's good they likewise happen only once every 30 days or so, heh! Speaking of astronomy, AND astrology, which I THINK you're into (yup, just checked) Happy Autumnal Equinox! 🌙🌠
i'm listening and shaking my head back in forth in disbelief of their imperfect perfection "we're all gonna die" LOL "it's OK" lol ... F it... let's get married :)
Mooshy Moo...I'm a boomer zep fan...I've picked the corn out of the poo for almost 40 years and I so want to believe you are a fan but my sus meter breaks every time I watch one of your vids. Not sure if it's those Charles Manson eyes or Steven Wright delivery 🤣🎉
Thanks for my favorite band 1969❤
