I have seen the Embers many times..Oh boy the memories ..I sure miss shagging now that I'm in Texas..I'm planning a trip back to the east coast to see family ..I'm going to make up for lost time and do a little shagging! :)) You never forget how to do it! I've had some great in Myrtle beach too..I love the east coast!
Been in Lake Charles Louisiana last 4 years, I miss the Grand Strand Miss all thats been torn down with NOTHING of interest to replace it, still MBSC is My second home. I'm 63 now and been trapsing around the sands from Carolina Beach to Charleston since I was 11 years old. Ypu never out grow it!
yeah i live in N.C, but we always seem to go to south carolina's beaches instead of our own. it feels weird to go to the coast of your own state sometimes cause its like, wow i could live here, but you can't.
im a real local of horry county (born and raised in the tobacco country) and fat harolds is an institution!!! best fried bologna sandwiches ever. shagging is something everybody in my family does and i learned by watching my grandparents in the kitchen. they would always play beach music and this was one of their favorites. so proud of my home :)
I am Originally from GREENVILLE SC Live off Hwy 153 in Piedmont now seen the EMBERS 47 Times. We have what is called SHAGGING ON AUGUSTA In greeville then we do it down town on MAIN STREET Seen the EMBERS, GENERAL JOHNSON & The Chairman of The Board, The TYMES, The 5 Satins, THE DRIFTERS & THE TAMS
