Amazing the cpu uses less then 40 watts in every game I have tried and usually around 30watts. Even my sons 6750xt on 1440p has noticeable sustained higher fps in all his sim games like farm sim and flight simulator. Over his previous 5800x on basic 3200mhz cl16 ram. Just found another new local 7800x3D but for $220. Pushed my 7600x,5800x and 5600x around so now the 5600x is for sale.

@@Nb_2089 certain games like F1 22 wouldn't launch no matter how hard I tried, and some games I played would outright crash sometimes. there were many timeout. sometimes the screen would flash. sometimes it would just randomly have a green screen. most recent of these issues have happened a month ago, so i would recommend if u buy an amd gpu to buy it a few months after launch. F1 22 launches now, and there havent been driver timeouts or crashes. No flashes right now, and the green screen problem happened a month ago. everything seems to be fixed now.

Honestly I'd say the new one, it's way more reliable if you are willing to sacrifice a bit of power. I have bought a radeon RX 580 used online for only 70€ but it was oxidised so not only it didn't work, it actually damaged my other components. If your used option is not online but in person and you are sure it works, even if it is a year old, I'd still take the new one tho. But do not trust online pc used market that easy

For pure gaming performance the 6800xt is better, if you do 3d or if you want raytracing and dlss go for the 4060ti, for cpu get the 12400f or if you want future proofing and have more money go for the 7500f

7800x3d is a bit over kill if you're just trying to game on 1080p. I assume you're playing competitive titles, so a 7600x should do you just fine. Pair that up with a 7600xt or a 4070 and you should be good to go.

Just for shits i put together an all AMD build the other day. The AM5 boards are pricy. The good B650 boards were $200 + back in the day you could get a new B350, 450, 550 for $150ish
i got regular 7600, all i can say is that over perform every benchmark i saw on youtube, while downclocking and with single ram stick so probably gonna use it very long time

the 7800x3d is overkill for the 4070, You could get a 7600x and upgrade the house to a 4070ti or 4070ti super(If you aren’t nvidia only get a 7800xt or 7900gre)

If you want Nvidia, get any 4000 series card but the 4060 ti, but if you dont care about raytracing I would recommend the RX

If you search good enough, you can find the i5 13600k for about 200 - 210 usd.
