I'm looking forward to watching another pond being created. (that's what this channel does for me.) I've done all the digging and building that I've desired in my 87 years. Now, I can watch Chris do it!
Joe, you should think about picking yourself up a 20’ container, preferably one that opens on each end. You could wrap & store the bundles under cover @ your Woodyard along with your wrapper. Park it down by your Axis machine & make them & store them till you need. You could bundle at one end store @ the other end & open your back door when you want to load up for delivery. You wouldn’tneed electricity just get yourself one of the rechargeable type generators. There is an old saying, sometimes you got to spend some money to make money. I love your videos. I like how you are always looking down the road before you do something. Planning is everything. I wish I lived closer, I would love to help you in the Woodyard. Maybe someday you’ll return to the logging show in Bangor Me & I’ll go to say hi. 👍Have a great day. Dave D. from Southern Maine.
There are a lot of pond type features being built in my area now as they try to slow down runoff into storm sewers. They call them detention ponds. They provide an area for water to stand and slowly run off or settle into the ground. Flow is restricted to a 6 inch pipe. The ponds are in sandy soil so the water returns to the ground to maintain the water table and the streets aren't flooded by storms.
I used to think the reason that I couldn’t hear you properly when you were in the cab was down to my hearing , I’m so pleased that it wasn’t just me . I can now hear you loud and clear Chris .
No better way to take care of a wet area than to build a pond. I would love to have a pond so I could fish everyday. Thanks for the video Chris. God Bless and have a well enjoyed vacation.
Pond is the word. Attracts me every time. Sure hope we get to see/hear your project with Justin. Been way too long with out that laughter and North Carolina accent.
Just poetry in motion! I'm just sitting here watching your right hand on that control,, it's as if you've got Parkinson decease, just like shaking back AND fro, with the machine doing whatever you demand by brain telepathy. Bloody amazing
I still think having Chris call out each move on both hands as he is doing them would throw a wrench in the works. He doesn't even think about what his hands are doing, it's just dig, turn to there, dump, wash rinse repeat.
Thank you for putting up the drone footage first then going through the explanation. That really put a finer point on what you do but it also illustrated just how much we enjoy your narration on that. I’m impressed with how this is turning out. 👍 The 330 takes between 20-50% more time than your 220 to cycle between putting your teeth back into the dirt…based upon my “1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi” official gauge😬. The delta between 20-50 seems to be because you have extra dirt scratching steps in order to “tee up” full(er) buckets on the 330. If that is the case, you will likely bring the high end down to 35 or 40 through subconscious efficiency as you get more hours in the seat.
Hi Chris, now the other five lots will want a little pond on their property. The sound is very good now, thank you. The pond is looking good in a day or two it will look amazing. Thanks for sharing, and God bless you all and be safe out there.
Hi it’s John from Hampshire in the uk love to watch your videos as I am a retired 360 operator myself I can’t relate to everything you do thanks for all the videos you do.
Chris! I LOVE the new mic! I can hear you in the cab now (I couldn't before)! Who knew that the track loader would make such a great dryer (cute toes 😆😆😆) Im pretty happy right now! I got 90% on my first assignment in University! WooHoo. Looking forward to your next video!!
This property will be a good purchase for someone looking for a pretty spot. With that never ending supply of ground water to enhance it. Looking good - wet foot included - nice surprise on a cold day.
"I'm gonna cut it out (the core trench) to make sure" because you can't do a half assed job. Whereas someone not as ethical as you would just dig a hole in the ground and leave it, you have to do it the correct way and I love it. I loved watching you remove those brambles, thinking back to the times you & Geoff got shredded by them. At least you don't have to remove all of them. I do hope we get to see you & Justin working together. Thanks for sharing this, Chris.
I have quite a nice speaker set up for my PC and I can say that audio is excellent with the new mic. I can hear all of the sounds from the machine, but your speech is crisp and clear!
Yes, storm water management - it's not called "another Geoff Pond". Four-way Francine will need a pressure washing after playing in the wet weedy mess. I bet you never thought you would get caught from your own 'pit trap'. Sound is doing good today. The 330 will have that hole roughed in a few days.
Out here where I live in the high desert, Barstow CA area ,the ponds out here aren't very big so we refer to them as mud puddles, if you don't put water in them on a regular basis you have a mud puddle. Keep up the good work Chris and Jeff. DDDDDOUG
*This machine seamlessly integrates into my workflow, enhancing productivity without adding complexity. It's a testament to thoughtful design, ensuring that technology complements rather than complicates.*
Above awesome early evening episode of Chris digging another small swimming hole. Pond digs are my favorite episodes. The 330 sure makes a difference time wise for Chris.
Well, look at you working and doing laundry y’all and the same time. Thanks for these videos. Keep up the good work. I watch you and dirt. Perfect. Have a great day and we’ll see you on the next one.
Hi Chris the sound in the 330 is much better we can hear what you saying now, Geoff has another good idea for a pond put into his mind by the best pond builder on the Internet and it will help h8m sale this plot and it will have a fantastic outlook over the pond Chris suggested and built thank's for another great video looking forward to more work on the 90 acer site just watch your back Geoff has something else up his sleeve for you to do.
Be prepared @27:00 for stunning drone shots of the work; this represents creative videography - Jeff? and the amazing excavator controls of two operators. A real visual treat!
Oh Yeah, Going pretty good so far Man !! Lost sound during the drone footage there... It's all good though !! Dammit Man !! I'm glad, and know you are, that you didn't slide on off into that Big hole you dug !! lololol...And really got soaked !! At least ya found a good dryer on site...lololol... Does suck though, when ya get a boot full of water !! lolol.. But, ya got it coming on along Man !! Great as always Chris !! Have a great Evening, And, On too the Next !! Going to wait for the Super Cross Races to start here in a little bit myself !! lolol... Have a good one...
I love the new projects you and Geff are doing. Great to see friends work together. Does he need to buy you a new machine yet? Just joking i know how the comments are lol.
That pond going to water all the way across the bottom before you finish, by the way the water easing in now. That is some good sticky clay. Thanks for the video
☘️🇮🇪🇺🇸 the 2 of you I’m telling ya… Great minds in perfect sync… you’re bouncing w/excitement shirt timers disease. Smelling FLORIDA juuuuust right there lololol LOVE to C U giddy w/excitement! Enjoy !!! U deserve it!!! Blessings 🌹🙏🏼
I don't know anything about land value in your area but having a pond on a lot should add some value. Should look nice in a few years when the trees around the back grow some.
That is going to be a sweet little pond. Question just came to my mind, with a pond on site near buildings, will that have any effect on the home owner insurance as far as fire protection goes, I mean if there was a fire, the pond in close proximity would mean they could just use a pumper truck and not have haul water, just a thought,I really don’t know how that would work. You’re making good progress sir, thanks for the update, appreciate the video.
"Donnie likes to move machines on Sundays" - I'm sure it's an absolute coincidence that the DOT doesn't work on Sundays, no scales, no roadside inspections.
Back in the 70's here in TN, it was against the law to move heavy equipment on Sunday because the PSC/DOT and some other law enforcement didn't work on Sunday. Every Sunday there was a convoy of sagging lowboys heading every direction imaginable with wide loads, heavy loads, over loads...
I'm looking forward to watching another pond being created. (that's what this channel does for me.) I've done all the digging and building that I've desired in my 87 years. Now, I can watch Chris do it!
Chris, with addition of the pond will that help with fire insurance cost? Or do you have large water supply lines in your area. Great video.
@@jmit5650I'm curious about that also

Around here in the subdivisions, they make a walking path going around the S/D and over the dam.
I used to think the reason that I couldn’t hear you properly when you were in the cab was down to my hearing , I’m so pleased that it wasn’t just me . I can now hear you loud and clear Chris .
I loved the aerial perspective on how you laid out the scope of the job. Very interesting and thanks to you both.
No better way to take care of a wet area than to build a pond. I would love to have a pond so I could fish everyday. Thanks for the video Chris. God Bless and have a well enjoyed vacation.
Your new mic. Is picking up your voice just fine and dandy Chris 👍thanks😊
Pond is the word. Attracts me every time. Sure hope we get to see/hear your project with Justin. Been way too long with out that laughter and North Carolina accent.
When those get together Chrises Yahoo accent get realy thick.😂😂😂 Good for them.
The MIC is picking up Great! When you talk over your left shoulder, it has "Podcast" quality!! YAY! More mud! lol
I agree
Hey Chris - Pond is looking great! It'll be a wonderful feature for the lot! Thumbs up! You're probably already in Florida! Have fun! Jim
Just poetry in motion! I'm just sitting here watching your right hand on that control,, it's as if you've got Parkinson decease, just like shaking back AND fro, with the machine doing whatever you demand by brain telepathy. Bloody amazing
The phrase “ become one with the machine” comes to mind. Might be a line from a movie, but it certainly applies here.
I still think having Chris call out each move on both hands as he is doing them would throw a wrench in the works. He doesn't even think about what his hands are doing, it's just dig, turn to there, dump, wash rinse repeat.

I love the historical context of all this... Moving soli to make a pond and an infilled area is the classic solution to swampy areas.
Hi Chris, now the other five lots will want a little pond on their property. The sound is very good now, thank you. The pond is looking good in a day or two it will look amazing. Thanks for sharing, and God bless you all and be safe out there.
Audio is good,real good
The new microphone sounds great! A lot of us never could hear you very well, while you were in the cab. Thanks.

Enjoying this new pond!! That 953 has been a good project purchase!! Good machine for the job!!
Dylan, the loader (or any equipment) will compact better with a full bucket of material. 😉
This property will be a good purchase for someone looking for a pretty spot. With that never ending supply of ground water to enhance it. Looking good - wet foot included - nice surprise on a cold day.
Looking good and sounding great!
another great pond build plenty of explanations of what's going on. gonna be the easiest pond to fill with all that ground water
Sound is great!!
And the start of another great pond build great video thanks Chris and Geoff and Dylan

Love watching the pond process - thanks Chris for sharing ;)
Have a good one Chris! Enjoy your vacation, take care and God Bless!!!❤😊
1 min after the release without notifications? Heck yeah! Great way to start my Saturday afternoon. Nice work as always.
I have quite a nice speaker set up for my PC and I can say that audio is excellent with the new mic. I can hear all of the sounds from the machine, but your speech is crisp and clear!

The guy you got running the Volvo's. Pretty darn quick with it looks like he's pretty good operator

Didnt realized how clear your voice was, but i didnt turn on cc before that, so it is amazing
Love the track-loader. I have a 1979(??)Case 450. Rebuilding the motor but what a beast.
Audio is good, nice work
Going to be a great building site 👍🏻🇺🇲
Mic is good! Hear you loud and clear!
Great job 👍🏻
I like the longer video, thanks.
Saturday evening here🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧Enjoy your Sunday 👍👍👍👍
Love the project. The drone footage is appreciated. We r curious about the elevations.
Considering the test hole didn’t take long to fill I’d say the pond will be full in a week or two especially if you get additional rains
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS 😊
Thank you and have a great day.
Every day is a learning day
I luv how you post almost every day. Soooo cool bro, keep it up 👍
Crystal clear sound
Moving fast. But taking shape❤❤❤❤

Great progress in a short time, from a swampy mess to something that looks reasonable (and saleable) already.

Really enjoyed this video Chris, mainly because overhearing you and Geoff talk is really amusing.

Around here, if you have a pond your homeowners insurance is lower. We have both a half acre pond and a hydrant across the street.
Gumbo clay great huckemputty. Pond will stay full yearround. That was quick getting to this point of the build. Weather looks like it is cooperating.
A good day to make the pond by the pond master
New mic is great Chris

Is there any county conflict on a property / house with a septic system and how close it is to a new pond like this one ?
It's time for a Tecova boot ad!
