I just watched another video addressing these issues and their solution. Their channel is Creative Repairing. He took a 2” pipe union and cut it down to close the gap between the shaft and the plucker spinner thing, he also used a second 4” pipe union to elongate the area where the feathers and water pour out. Go check out his video. We plan to implement those changes on ours. I bought it used so I am a little concerned it already has some damage. It worked when I picked it up… I have a bunch of birds to do so we will be fixing before we begin. Peace!
If you tried to turn your bottom plate it might have ran ! Mine did same thing! Been in contact with yardbird because mine keeps tripping the plug gfci plug
It's simply a poorly designed plucked. The old motor needs to be completely disassembled and cleaned and it will work again. The new motor you bought will need to be disassembled and cleaned and dried after every use.

So you never figured out what was wrong?. Ours shut off after a 100 bird day on the last bird. Still can't figure out what is wrong with ours
