For anyone who wants to copy and paste Form Shooting - Stand close to the basket (3-5 feet) - SWISHES only - 5 shots with one hand (shooting hand only) then 5 shots with both hands - Hold your follow through on every shot Stationary Shooting - Stand at 5 spots on the court: corners, wings, and top of the key - take 5 shots from each spot - focus on proper form, balance and follow through Catch-and-shoot - Use a partner, a wall, or flip the ball to yourself to simulate a pass - Catch the ball, square your feet, and shoot immediately. Rotate between the five spots on the court Shooting off the dribble - Dribble once or twice to your shooting spot and take a shot. Alternate between right and left hands (dribbling) - Add variations like a crossover or a step back if you're more advanced Free throws - Make 25 free throws. RUN your misses Tip: Focus on catching the ball in your shooting pocket and using your legs for power
i was a solid 3 point shooter with terrible midrange, my coach tried the form shooting stuff and then i couldnt shoot either for almost a year, went back to practicing 3 pointers and now leading my team in 3pt efficiency again. the form shooting just throws off my entire force-production and fluid natural body motion and feels extremly akward to me. this will for sure help most people, but it wasnt for me i guess
@@cube_2593 i was the same way, i hated form shooting! After playing college, i dont know why i began to do it after my league games and now it helps me tremendously. But do what works for you!!
Matthew 6:19-21 KJV [19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: [20] but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: [21] for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Sure. This is all so helpful to keep routines with shooting. It’s also a great warmup routine before practice and games. I don’t know what your talking about but you clicked on the video and it’s given you everything that can help you train. There’s no easy way to get better. Only consistency. Stop tryna hate.
