Solid list, been playing a very similar profile from a while ago, I try to play a Fiendsmith engine in there because getting drolled sucks and I swap out the shrimp, coral, Swordsoul and Sol, you can run either Desirae or King Caesar and the main deck can consist of as little as a single Engraver, if that turns out to be too brick adding the track + lacrima is enough
Given that I took a small break from the game when decks were 50% handtraps (I had no fun playing the game) I decided to split up my White Forest Centurion Horus deck when I got back to it. Nice to see some clarifications on the card choices. How would you feel about Book of Eclipse? Could I still play a small Horus package? Or is the WANTED! Diabellstar enough got get you going when you get imperm'd on Astellar?
Book of eclipse is really strong into the current meta! Strong into most meta boards except for maliss! I absolutely love the Horus cards and imsety combos well with the spells since they send for cost, so you can reset the white forest cards. Not sure what I would swap in the current build but definitely room for experimentation!
@@vld4291 realistic board ends on diabell + silohatte rabbit/visas armitara with woes of the white forest set. If you have azamina engine you'll end on that plus silvera omni negate/azamina trap for fusion on opponents turn.

Thank you for the kind words! The arms of genex line is decent for the extra flex spots in the extra deck to give it a shot! I usually found that you typically only have light and dark so you're ending on 2 monster negates which is decent. I think I would suggest playing the muddy mudragon/dark dragoon package instead of the Arms of Genex. Dragoon is difficult for ryzeal to out normally since they can't target it. Even more so with the attack boost from the negate!
@brett4president First of all, congratulations on the result. I would be curious to know which slots you would replace with the 3 cards needed for Dragoon. Since of the 15 extra deck cards, you have indicated only 2 as less relevant 🤔
@@fracampa903 the chengying, coral dragon and zapper shrimp could be swapped for the three card package. I never made chengying over the day, made shrimp once and that was just insurance. And coral dragon didn't come up over the day but it has several times in testing just for spot removal. If you wanted to keep one of the utility synchros, you could also cut a maindeck trap brick like mannadium or azurune statue and drop either rabbit or armitara. I personally went into rabbit more over the day so I could see cutting armitara if you were having issues making room in the extra!
Deception was great at one! I could definitely see playing it at 2 copies if you wanted to hard draw it but I never had any issues with having the singleton. Definitely some merit when new azamina support comes out but for now it felt right at a single copy
given how stopping duodrive seems like a must and nib not really doing tons of damage to most top decks atm what would you change them for? mourner? ogre? droll maybe?
I think ghost ogre is especially strong this format. I know that continuous spells are very strong on top of duodrive being a must answer. Plenty of other targets in meta game currently that is good against i.e. kashtira birth, branded regained, and yubel plays several spells. I don't think droll is that strong currently since fiendsmith plays under it and ryzeal can always just end on detonator + non-engine. Droll is better the more fragile the meta game is and right now it's really grindy which droll is weak into. I think I would be perfectly happy with seeing ghost ogre instead of nib. Good thoughts!
@brett4president droll can be pretty good if they have to start with engraver to not lock themselves into rank 4s (since most Ryzeal/FS decks I've seen do play 3 engraver) tho they'll probably some how still end on detonator at least but in general since we can't really play many handtraps we kinda have to use the most impactful ones (droll-nib usually), ogre is indeed good into quite a lot decks, I was thinking about maybe mourner mainly cuz Ryzeal f.e. does seem to main deck crossout easily but usually don't have enough space for mourner also in deck
Going 2nd into ryzeal can be a little tough without seeing any interaction. Typically only need to stop duodrive from resolving to play well into the board so only need 1 ht. Resolving ty-phon was always a clean answer into their board. Talents and droplets are also go-to answers going into ryzeal board since you have the engine to back it up. I haven't done a lot of testing into the maliss deck so I can't say for sure but my suggestion would be to imperm/velier chessy cat and pray or ash white binder summon back from banish. Match 2 the maliss player ended on 4 interruptions on my turn after I dropped nibiru so if your meta is full of maliss I would alter the deck to play more ht.
@@matthewbeltran6097 I never missed having a access to a second copy! Especially with it resetting itself end of turn if you didn't go for the wanted draw. But I also played the azamina trap card which also let me have a way to get back into the sinful spoils engine if need be, so I never felt the need to go another copy personally.
@whales312 Lol what? I jasked how big of an event it was because I couldn’t find the answer myself. Not every question is asked with a negative connotation.
I decided against playing them. I had fuwalos in main for an event last week with purulia in side and swapped them for more board breakers since I was light on handtraps. I felt that the mulcharmys paired better when you were drawing multiple interactions on your opponents turn. If I decided to play a version with more handtraps I would probably slot them back in.
droplet is bad in my opinion yes it can work of the toy soldier. there was one time I was played droplet but I sent to many cards and it backfired on me I couldn't do anything
I've gone back and forth with it. I usually combo it with wanted or a normal spell just to stretch the value with it a little more. Definitely feels bad to send anything over 2 though I agree!
Sick profile, man. I played you round 5 and got cooked. Told all the homies you were definitely winning the event. This guy is insane!
Congrats! Great job in a tough meta. Really cool deck and nice descriptions of the hows and whys.
