Great job Dee ! You're a natural communicator. You've got that pen & those screens well under control ! Please ensure you're back in front of the camera explaining, interviewing & telling stories in 4 years time.
From NYC sending a big thanks to you and the team for putting together A-1 shows. Now Alexia Barrier needs you “away from the TV” Sail fast and sail fast!
Thank you so much Dee for your invaluable contributions to this edition of the Vendee Globe. Your presentation style is completely natural and a joy to watch. Best wishes for all your future projects. 👏🧢💐
Dee, you have been mastering this show so well, that I gave up on the French version and only followed that one. You should be in charge of all Vendee Live shows ! All the best !
Dee, it is just as emotional for me because I know you are leaving. You have such a huge fan base out here so I thank you for the outstanding effort you have extended on our behalf.
At the risk of sounding like a cynic, and I’m sure it’s in the detail but do you need 25 experts to tell us what we already know. ‘Exciting to find out about pollution’ there’s lots of analysis not one ‘expert’ has said what action is being taken. Ban the production of plastic bottled water immediately there’s an action
I assume because the experts on the show don't actually make these decisions. They crunch the data, then someone else makes it understandable for the decision makers, another person works to get it in front of them.... Then hopefully in another decade we get some action... 🤷
@ indeed, I’m not knocking any of them or the research, I just feel on at least one of the enviro Friday shows they should have had someone on who is the action taker, everyone interviewed are gathering data and info. First action stop throwing crap in the sea and make the penalties for polluting more severe and the individuals and companies more accountable. To reduce micro plastics first you must ban unnecessary plastic use, ie shopping bags, food packaging and certainly ban all plastic bottled water production immediately. How is it possible that I can go to the local shop on the small Caribbean island I live on and buy plastic bottled water from the Scottish highlands, France, Italy and Fiji it’s pure insanity and that’s before you consider it’s carbon footprint to get here
Thanks Dee. Wonderful work! We really appreciate your contributions to the coverage of this epic event. Best to you in your next endeavor.
