Cast Announcement 'TEA' | AIA Pilot Pre-Production Program (4P) - 2025

Asians in Animation is excited to unveil the latest update on the Pilot Pre-Production Program (4P)!
The 4P program is a hands-on industry simulation for talent to gain animation experience. After a selective application process, a team of creatives is tasked with creating a half hour pilot, along with a ready to ship design package.
This year’s 4P team has been hard at work brewing the story of “TEA”. The story is set in a world inspired by Chinoiserie across Asia; weaving together elements of fantasy, tradition, and a magical TEA-m. In this society built on the exclusive trade of tea, a young outsider leaves home in search of ancient tea magic. In a new place, they infiltrate an exclusive Tea House to find answers to their powers, gather allies, and evade the pursuit of a mysterious company that wants tea for themselves.
After sifting through over 120 talented applicants, the leads identified the right voices to bring the world to life.
