'92 WWF is hard to imagine a heel group running the show. That's not Vince's style at the time. Would have been great especially with all the young heroes to chase them and get their shine from them. Bret, Shawn, Owen, etc. Even Taker could benefit from that.

The last formations made me sad and angry. Wasted on a nothing feud with hogan and his croonies, then the NWO (hogan and his croonies again). It still annoys me to this day how the Horsemen never got to send their recipient for the Arm promo. Still a overall good review and retrospective!

Babydoll was never their manager, she was Tullys valet and Tully was managed by JJ who became the manager for all of the 4 Horseman when they became a faction. JJ was present from day 1.
Mr. Perfect soooo should of stayed a Horsemen. In the nWo he was lost in the gold but as a member of the Horsemen he could of given WCW the Star power it needed and helped make the fight a little less one sided.

Go back and watch Nitro in 1996 and 1997 with that horseman music would hit. The whole arena, even people with nWo T-shirts were holding up four fingers . There was a shortage of four Horsemen T-shirts in the audience or posters. Even if Ric Flair and Anderson didn’t walk out if it was just Chris and Mongo the fan still acted the same way. Not only that I’m not saying Mongo was ever Ricky steamboat or anything but if you go look at his first match and then fast forward to the end of 1997 going into 1998. He actually did get a lot better. No he didn’t have 10 years of experience like most other people on the roster but for the way you would expect a football player to wrestle he did it pretty damn good. And by football player, I mean someone that’s not going to wrestle like Ricky steamboat or coming off the top rope every other move like Rey Mysterio Junior. He’s how you would expect a football player that was 6 foot three and 270 pounds to wrestle.

The Dungeon of Doom. They were the 90s version of ‘Paul Jones’ Army’ from back in the 80s in JCP/Mid-Atlantic. Did any of those wrestlers in those groups ever win a match against a top guy? I don’t think they did.
The decline of the Four Horsemen started when Ole Anderson left. Windham was the best replacement. The others such as Luger, Sting, Roma, just never fit in quite right.
Why such hate on Paul Roma? He had some solid skills and even unique moves for the time. Maybe he lacked intelligence & a mic riffing ability, but Sid was there & didn't get the same negativity... Excellent video though!

Having Hennig turn on the Horsemen after the emotional retirement speech by Arn, that was one of the worst booking decisions WCW ever made.
