What are my take-aways? 1. Jeff has a nice radio voice and the audio is great. 2. I can use “See and Say” B-roll to show what I say. 3. Lead with scene work. Set up the scene with b-roll before I start talking. That’s all good and well but… I teach English online. I'm not a filmmaker. I make English teaching videos. I’m not sure how I could use this in a practical way.
Your a English teacher so don't look at my grammar or spelling lol... but in your teaching when you have a break or pause you can put a clip in like Jeff does here with his story greenlight theme such as the light signal to break in-between...it can be as simple as a picture on binder paper with a note written on it possible as an illustration of English grammar
Hey Chad! Well, let's just state the obvious - you have a unique niche, and you've built a great following doing what you do. (I also checked out the video where you went to the Karma restaurant. Nice!!) You have a format that works. Have you ever experimented outside it? Do you think there might be value to that?
@@StoryGreenlight the streaming for me is just to hang out...it doesn't help my channel at all actually it hinders my channel but I stopped doing videos for others and do videos for my entertainment and that's why I am here ... for me learning is my entertainment and I'm learning how to make better videos .. I'm still a hermit and always will be and I may have to stop UA-cam completely if I want to stay a hermit....any Jeff thanks for what you do.. cheers
This sounds familiar. :-D Great example of a level 1 video; I was working in the kitchen and BBQ while listening, not paying much attention to the video, mainly just listening to the audio. Funny thing is I almost never listen to podcasts; about the only time is on road-trips. However, I not infrequently watch podcasts (like this). In the past, I typically open a video with a talking head shot asking a question related to the project. When I get back into video production, I think I'm going to switch it up a bit and use project scenes with VO for the question/setup part. Thanks for all you do. Peace!

Another great topic explained well. Thanks Jeff for taking the time to post this content.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you 👍
Hey Cliff! Most welcome. Hope the ideas are helpful for ya.
That was very interesting and informative. I like that you use the right terminology of video production. Thanks Jeff!
Thanks Judith!
Loved this! Do a lot of talking head and 4th wall…at least I’m trying, working at it. 😎📸
Right on. Keep going, man!

Fantastic! Welcome!
The big question everyone wants to know is films without anyone speaking and the signs you see is that level 5
Can you please make a video on Soundup
