Watching any savage explanation for FF14 is always this way: "Oh so they modified that. Well that's fine. And there's this extra mechanic, ouff, but alright." then you check the video and you saw 10% of it and the extra mechanics just keep on piling up. 😱

Little note: when ur doing duty action, u have to look directly at Ramuh, otherwise you and others will get knocked away and fall. Look straight, not diagonal or intercardinal. I ended up wiping raid a couple times.

Just checking Vid, but it feels like Walking Dead instead of the Duty Action might be an idea. MTQ shows Duty Action + CDs and the Pa is basically dead. Walking Dead, zombie, then just get full Heal which you needed with original mechanic, and now you have Defensive Cds available.

on stormclouds: whenever you get hit by a cloud aoe (=> you are tank/melee), you'll need a surge protection stack or get vulnerability up.
Just one correction: neither of the buster's are aoe damage.
Which is quite misleading for the OT's tankbuster especially, given that that is a splash damage marker that they get.
@@Sharkz117 I agree, the marker doesn't make a lot of sense.
Melee also need at least 1 stack of surge protection when they cleanse their hated debuff!
Hey could you one day put the mechanics of a fight in order of when they happen in the description it would help a lot of people out with the order of thing since these videos are really good
The video is so well done, but their is no guiding aspect to it, at all, just a description of abilities. It in no way prepares you for the fight.
@@HailtotheThief21 it explains to you a strategy for dealing with each ability and she goes through the abilities in order of which they're cast, it's very informative. I agree wtih Cyboy though I'd like for the order to be in the description too
i mean, everything is in order of when they happen, you should watch the whole video either way if you are here for learning so adding it to the description is more or less pointless time consuming.

What's the timing like on Summon Executor cast? Is there time to get stacks after the tether goes out?
@@skeet719 There is like a second or two before it appears/starts to auto another person, but even with a few autos, any other player will be fine. Just need to pick it up in time for the TB, really, which occurs quite a while later
I know she already advised players to try and always have a stack of Surge Protection, but there are two spots (other than Thunderstorms, Fury's Fourteen and buffed Judgment Volts) where it's absolutely necessary to have a stack:
1. Melee DPS each need a stack when going under stormclouds, or they'll likely die when getting zapped to clear the Hated by Levin debuff.
2. When dealing with a buffed Tribunal Summons, everyone needs a stack or you'll get Vulnerability.
Also, don't get _too close_ to each other when transferring Chain Lightning, because it also drops a small AoE on the person receiving it. If you're too close, the person giving it away will die.

PPS: Don't be me and miss the extra vertical horses for the second spear phase. Super important to check where those are for that one and can't use the beam shorthand like the first one. ;-;
Im so shocked and how positive of a time I had in PF. Got my clear 4ish days ago, but can’t wait to share this with others. The circle strat for chain lightning scares me so much! Love Triangle because I usually don’t have to move lmao
The audio feels *really* quiet this time around, especially compared to your older uploads.
It's insanely quiet. My audio hurts my ears if I have it up to 22. I had to crank this up to 50 and mute everything else to hear it.
For F14 for Tribunal Summons, all other players lined up on spears also need to have one stack buff in order to not be completely pushed away.
This fight seems like "Fuck the Off Tank" the encounter
I know everyone has to start somewhere but e5s has become impossible to clear in pf i been at it for a couple weeks now only need 1 clear it seems like a flood of new players wanted to try it now that you're able to upgrade your gear to 500.. Just letting you guys know yes you have to do mechanics even with 500 ilvl gear so practice and watch guide over and over..

In the last Stepped Leader how do we know when is circle AoE or damage down?
it depends if ramuh is powered up or not. if he has orbs floating around him its donut, if not its just puddle. same for the horse mechanics. if the horse in the middle has orbs = strong knockback, if no orbs = weak knockback

question. i'm confused but when the off tank was being targeted by the tether creature and got the buster it looked like the red one from other raids for example the yorha copied factory. that thing had murder splash damage. but i noticed the off tank not bothering to take it out. is there no splash damage for this one or is it just the tank was being careful guiding it.
you probably know this already since it's been a few days, but no tank buster is an aoe here, they're all single target - both on the MT and the OT :)
It does look like the one from Copied Factory. However, the one here in E5S does not do AOE.

.75x speed, because im easily confused and slow.
She also talks extremely fast and doesn't breathe so all you hear is her chaining one mechanic after the next, it's too much info to absorb. I always struggle to take in her boss mechanics but sadly there's not a lot of people who do proper boss mechanic videos that I have to keep coming back to her after I'm doped on prozac.

Ok i have a little Question i want to try this fight in PF and i saw that the chain lightning is passed by all player i heared from other they pass it only from Healer to DPS in 2 3man groups so what is the more common one in PF ?? Ty for the answer and sorry for my bad english :)
I'm finding that PF is almost split half and half atleast on my datacenter. Though I will say that the circle strat is way harder to mess up than the two triangle strat.

I just love your voice so much and after watching this guide i can finally say no to all four new 5.2 raids (Savage) with a smile cause it's honestly too much for my brain to comprehend plus i main Bard and I've been told that my dps is extremely low so no thank you. Was fun farming Titan (Savage) but this is way too much to remember! Way too much!

Chain lightning was a little hard to understand , how are we going to make the formation to pass it around.
she literally explained? you position the whole group in a circle around the boss and the one with the debuff moves slightly closer to the next in line when passing it away and then moves back to the spot..

Easy fight but overall more fun than E1S for me.
I honestly do not understand why so many people (in Chaos at least) prefer the Chain Lightning strategy where it’s just the healers and dps juggling the thing, the 8 man circle strat is so much simpler. The only explanation I’ve heard is that the main tank might be taking too much damage at the same time, but they’re popping big cooldowns and preferably have a stack anyway, so that’s bs as long as they’re not at like half health with no shields when all that goes out. It makes PF such a chore cuz even when I’m MTing and explaining the strat, they’re so against it. Also, none of the tank busters are AoE, but otherwise great vid.
circle strat involves all 8 players needing to move and adjust properly. Triangle strat involves only 2 players (1 in each group) moving while everyone else stays still. Now which one are you saying is simpler?
phiefer3 circle, by far, the triangle requires those 2 players to really be on point the entire time. When all 8 are involved, everyone can adjust just a little bit to make it easier
@@onadaTotihotiH on point how? stand here, receive chain lightning, move here, pass chain lighting, move back, rinse and repeat. Circle basically has everyone doing the same thing, it's the same amount of movement either way, but one requires everyone to do it right, and the other only requires 2 people to do it right.
phiefer3 when all 8 people are involved, each person can adjust to make sure they have a good distance, if it’s only 1 person on each side that’s moving for triangle, good luck if you need to cast anything during Chain Lightning since you need to be positioned in a way to manipulate who gets the chain every time
@@phiefer3 All i know is that in PF pugs, when we do triangle, half the time someone messes it up. And in circle 90% of the time its good. And the 10% someone messes up the circle can just close up and keep going.
maybe u should break this up into phases like we used to do that just felt like a bombardment of information i held about 30% of it and the end i was like meh ill just try the fight

no you could stack during the second stepped but not chain for chain depending on what strat you use you just need to group west/east or around the boss

I dont know what she's talking about "signified by which spear Ramuh targets during the cast" this is the sort of stuff I tell people about when they ask about watching a Mizzteq video. It seems to me like what you should have said is "The safe side to stand on is the side without the ixions" is that not easier? Or something about the lightning tethers which spawn the Ixions. When you say "Target" I think "Whats the boss doing switching from the main tank to target a spear?" What? Imo Mizzteq vids are just an attempt to be relevant + cringe jokes or just cringe in general.

Your rotation failed you. You should easily clear at that iL. The 370 min iL can be easily cleared with good parsing players.
it was probably the deaths to our group cuz i was hitting him as hard as i could not to mention i maxed out the melds too with my other group i cleared no problem now i got the ruby weapon as well too.. i dont really care for parse or top dps..

I checked pronunciation of be Ramuh. It's Rah muh, like it has always been. Idk why we went to moo. Maybe he put on weight. Read a lot of different opinions but when SE uses voice acting they all say Rah Muh. No to the moo.
The name for him is ラムウ which equals to "ramuu" in the Latin (English) alphabet. This is why it's moo.
The voice actors would disagree with you (see: post ARR)
@@goroyoshi6056 You're speaking about the non-Japanese VAs, which is a translation of the game. They make these changes to localize the game to regions (same way fast food places have different flavors for different cultures' palates).
This has been a huge discussion for as long as translations have taken place around the world: accuracy vs intent, so to speak.
Ramuh isn't a case like Krile's (クルル, "kururu") where the Japanese language simply just doesn't support the sounds. ラマ is "rama", but they chose to use ラーマ aka "ramoo."
