This is super cool and impressive made from scratch. I really wanted to do something like this but figured it was just too much work trying to get something equivalent or better than RC cars out there which are able to tackle nearly any terrain. Unfortunately those are around $400-$500 though.. Either way it's kind of a slap in the face when doing something like this, getting real excited about it, then seeing that it might get stuck in slightly tall grass. That happens to any car of mine that isn't getting way more than average ground clearance. I think with some clever servo arms something like this could be made to get itself "unstuck" though. Front and rear diff locking seems to really help but then you really do need a super legit and full featured chassis and suspension.
I actually tried to create a platform to improve myself. With this project I made, I both improved myself in drawing and learned about the problems of unmanned land vehicles. But yes it is a tiring tool to do. But it can be used for different purposes by putting a lidar or a pixhawk on it. Thank for the comment :)

İm still working on it. I still cant efford pixhawk cube. İn the video that was just a reference its suitable for pixhawk. @@axeleliasdejesusdeljesus2407 ı used a 125mm diameter tires. I shared all material list in thingiverse you can find there. I bought them in Turkey but can find it in amazon or bangood. If you want to buy bigger tires, make sure tires dont touch the chasis , maybe u can use longer coupling so tires cant touch chasis. Thanks for good comment :)
I had to use rock climbing tires, they were the only thing with the clearance to not rub on the body. I was thinking about printing an adapter that extends the 14mm hex out another 10mm so I can put offroad tires on. Just not sure if PLA is tough enough.

You need to make 3s battery hich is aproxsimaitly 12v, 1 li-ion or lipo battery can give 3.7v, 3 li-ion can give 11.1V. and then i make paralel 2 of them for more capasity.

For the receiver you simply need to use arduino mega and nrf24l01 for communications.

The reason why I use the connector system is that it is easy to assemble and that someone who wants to make design changes in the future can change it more easily.

@@U-Tech20 after a lot of tests with custom-build antennas I can say that's it doesn't work this way. You can get 10-12km range for FPV, and, with the same setup you will get 600-800m in clear space and 200-300m in bushes. 2km not possible in any way
I control a similar vehicle on the v tail mix and thanks to that I can spin in place. I recommend 🙂

Yeah you can use whatever card suitable with gps system. Arduipilot, matek f405 wing etc.

Yea flysky doesnt have too much range but if you have enough money you can use it with radiomaster, radiomaster have much better range.
