Love my vantage m but I'm definitely getting a pacer pro . I like the idea of only paying for the features I want . This pacer pro has everything I need

Had the Coros Pace 2 along with the Polar Pacer Pro and the Coros was out of battery first. I like the turn by turn navigation of the Polar Pacer Pro. I do not know quite what to do with the running power, its a bit high, would be good if one could somehow relate it to cycling power in relation to average speed and average heart rate.

I'm thinking about getting either the Pacer Pro or the Garmin Fenix 6, as the prices are very similar now. Any suggestions on which one to choose?

      Def garmin fenix 6.
Polar web flow is very useful if you’re into running. Better sleep tracking compare to garmin. polar automatically record sleep without setting sleep start and end like garmin does. Since PPP don’t have recovery pro, nightly recharge should be good enough. Much prefer the recovery pro orthostatic test in the morning to asset my HRV/recovery status found on their higher end Watch.
Some caviat, their hardware is lacking. I have polar vantage v2. Screen is barely visible on low light. Flick to wrist backlight is super terrible especially running at night. Would have to enable always on backlight because of how unresponsive it is. Navigating through the Watch menu is very slow. And I mean very slow compare to garmin. You would have to wait a second for the Watch to respond to touch/button. GPS lock takes a while depending where you’re located compare to garmin. Overall, polar hardware needs to beef up.
Garmin has better hardware and decent backend software for running and multi sport.

@@dominicjrf thanks for the detailed answer 👌 sounds like the Garmin would be the right choice. I have the Polar m430 now and I like it okay, but the battery life is terrible.

I have the Garmin fenix 6X pro and it’s superb! I’ve had it for 2 years and it’s still the best performing watch out there (except the fenix 7 which only has a few updates compared to the fenix 6). Garmin customer service is amazing too
