Great video. You did well making it! I am Molly, a 51 year old woman in America. I was born premature, so not only do I have severe nystagmus, but I'm also legally blind since birth. I can definitely relate to what having 'dancing eyes' is like. I get so tired sometimes, and I find it extremely difficult to look other people in the eye. I do not like to look directly at people.... it's very tiring for my eyes. A big hug from me in the USA. You made a wonderful video!
This is honestly the best explanation ever I’ve always found it hard to try to explain it to other people teachers and friends and they are always asking whether the worlds moving around me, this is amazing!
This is a great documentary Matt, thanks so much for putting this out there. Our 6 year old son has congenital nystagmus and this is very informative and helpful. All the participants are a great inspiration!
This is honestly great. I've had nystagmus since I was a baby. Interestingly, because I have a divergent squint in both my eyes too my nystagmus is very mild and only appears when I'm super tired! (Not gonna lie, that's more often than not. I like working too much oops). I wish there was more *no pun intended* visibility for the nystagmus community! Thank you for making this documentary! It's really fun to see how people describe it, and I think your speaker was right when they said 'It's like autism for eyes' because mine is a lot different to the people here!
I was born with Nystagmus and until today I couldn't understand my condition even after going for several eye tests. Now am about to turn 32 and just trying to find out from my own research that am not alone. Now I understand my condition but a very difficult life have gone through with it .
I would like to create a Live so we could talk about nystagmus, tell about our experiences, as well as we managed to overcome our limitations. We can combine the day and time, so I send everyone an email with the Live link to participate. What do you think of the idea?
