    I agree, this was such a good this or that! ❤ I have only tried the Ordinary's Buffet + Copper but I have considered splurging on the Niod. I think you may have talked me out of it, lol. I love that with the Ordinary's serum you get the instant gratification from the ingredients like Argireline plus benefits over time from the Copper peptides.

    Thanks for this! That CeraVe night cream has been a holy grail of mine for YEARS. I can't find anything that works as well for my skin, which is frustrating because I'd like to eliminate L'Oreal brands from my routine (Nestle, possibly the most evil of all corporations, owns a sizeable stake).
    I'm a fan of Stratia and have had my eye on their newer products, so I'm definitely going to have to add that peptide moisturizer to my next order! Maybe it'll be the thing that my skin loves as much as (if not more than) the CeraVe!❤️

      The info is conflicting and not really totally established at this point, I think Deciem added to this panic with their recommendations to not use their copper peptide products with vitamin C, AHA, BHA or retinoids. My advice, if you're worried is just to avoid it, those ingredients are likely not in AM and PM routines each day so just slot in copper peptide in those spots.

    • @morgianasartre6709
      @morgianasartre6709 Рік тому

      I imagine that to be a very hard topic to fit into a comprehensive video as a lot of it depends on your individual level of sensitivity to certain actives, your skin type, the rest of your routine and the specific products/concentrations. Plus there are many actives out there and obviously you can't fit them all into a routine so you have to pick and choose based on individual concerns.

    There is something that I would like to know about products with peptides and it is about the percentage that products with peptides should have, because many times we only see on the packaging what type of peptides they contain, but it is important to know the appropriate amount that the different types contain. formulas that contain these ingredients, for example I think the brand Mary and may has a very small percentage and you don't always know if they are going to produce the benefits that the brand says they do. You know what I mean?

    I really wanted to purchase a serum with copper peptides, but I've read comments from quite a few woman especially dark-haired ones like myself that copper peptides stimulate hair growth and thus their facial hair has increased quite a bit. So, as I'm already struggling with dark facial hair and am pre-menopause, I really can't risk it. I just wonder if there are other options. I haven't found the same comments about Matrixyl 3000, so I hope I can at least try that to get at least some anti-aging benefits from peptides. Does anyone have any experience with that or info? Thanks a lot! :)

      It should be kept in the fridge to slow oxidation down. It's oxidized when color or smell change after you've opened it. This is all fairly regular for ascorbic acid. Some formulas and packaging are better but it's always a tricky ingredient.

    Hi. As a recent subcriber, I have been binge watching your past videos. I was surprised when you compared cerave night skin renewing cream to interface. I always thought of cerave as a ceramide rich moisturizer.
    As someone with mature skin, I have been a long time user of timeless coenzyme-Q in the morning and matrixyl synth 6 (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 description / tripeptide KMK) at night.
    Now that Stratia interface and Mary&May - 6 Peptide Complex Serum have dawned on MY horizon, I was wondering if it would be a good idea to make a switch or continue with what I have always used or add another peptide serum. I am trying to keep my routine simple and not add too many products - watching youtube videos dont help with that !😊

      Sounds like you're already using some great products. Are you happy with your results, something you are looking to achieve on your skin that your current products aren't providing? I'd start with the goals you want to achieve first, before looking to add or change products. Not all peptides target the same concerns so knowing what you want is going to help you more mindfully decide what you want (or don't want) to change.

(0.1% tretinoin - curology user) But that brought K&J beauty skin care onto the scene just 2 months ago - and a whole new world for the better opened up. It has been an educational experience.
      You are absolutely right in that I need to address my skin concerns. I would like the peptides to address my aging skin, which does Not have wrinkles but fine lines under the eyes and deepening naolabial folds. Right now, all the peptides sound good and hence, the dilemma 😅
