Enjoyed playing the game with you Chris! I agree I wish that it was easier to see which rooms were open and closed. But the game is good fun . And soooo pretty
Good review! Great review man, just stumbled on your channel when looking into Weirdwood some more. You’ve eliminated a few of my concerns, looking forward to backing this one! Definitely subscribed to your channel too, great delivery 👍
Thank you for this review! And, yes, it was very helpful ... helpful in increasing the number of difficult choices as to what projects to back over the next 4 weeks or so. 😉 Your review did move this up on my priority list - Weirdwood Manor seems quite fun and the artwork looks great.
Don't back kickstarter projects, they're always overhyped overpriced crap that focuses on serving shiny stuff to distract you from hollow mechanics. In the end, you'll convince yourself you liked it because you spent 100-200 dollars and waited a year for it.
@@arandombard1197 2 problems: 1) It is a mistake to put one's own values on others on a topic like this video's subject; nobody should tell you that you are wrong for feeling the way you do about crowdfunding but your opinion is just your opinion. 2) "always" and "nothing bad ever" are absolutes as used here which makes the statements as literally written untrue - something along the lines of "often" or ""all too frequently" would work better. Again, the statements are still just one's own opinions. (However, based on what I value in backing, I would often agree with the basic premises that you present for most crowdfunding projects. From what I've read, people are increasingly expressing similar feelings.)
@@SteveRB511 These are not my own values, they're just the truth. Stop pre-ordering stuff, pre-backing stuff. It has killed the video game industry. On top of that, there have just been too many shiny Kickstarter projects that have been filled with miniatures and pre-order bonuses that are all hollow empty games. People get excited by the shiny new thing, spend 300 dollars on it, play it 3 times and then convince themselves they were happy with the purchase, before repeating the process all over again.
I told myself NO more! But my YT feed keeps populating with thumbnails of eye catching board games with thematic cover art.... argh. Edit: I'm ONLY going to watch your "biggest complaint" section of the video. That's it.
So I understand that a commination of the asymmetrical characters and the modularity of the board can make for a complicated game, but weight rating of 5 doesn't seem to track for me on BBG
It's absolutely not a rating of 5 for weight, whoever put that is speaking nonsense. For me this is mildly more complex than Pandemic, but was pretty simple to pick up.
My issue is that they offer a $1 pledge so you can think about it, but they make you pay 5% more than you would if you joined the campaign. Nope. F that, I don't respect those tactics that force a decision now if you're lukewarm. I almost always end up pledging in the PM but if it's more than the campaign..nah. You killed any FOMO I had
Thanks a lot for your reviev! I really like your videos, you have a certain inetresting point of viev, and you have a capacity to look on gam elike noone do:) Quite nteresting solid game worth to try I quess:)One thing, this blurring background was a little annoying, if you could something to do with this next time would be great:)

Oh, greetings dear souls, welcome to the show
Where clowns abound and laughter's aglow
Clowning, clowning, with grace and spite
We delve into the world of board games tonight
Chris George from Room and Board is here to assist
With his Crowdfunding Countdown, no detail is missed
He reviews the latest Kickstarters with skill
Using an abacus, his calculations never spill
But beware of slippery Jim, our sly friend
A little creepier than we'd care to comprehend
With a grin that's too wide, and eyes too bright
He slithers in shadows, lurking in sight
Through the labyrinth of board games, we'll go
With Jim by our side, we'll never know
What twisted thoughts brew in his mind
Or what horrid secrets he's designed
So let's enjoy this clowning affair
And pray that Jim's intentions are fair
For board games bring us together in the end
And with clowns like us, it's always a win.
It's round amazing labyrinth, with co-op and combat.
Great review, the acrylic pieces look fantastic!

@@arandombard1197 Inappropriate use of "always." 😉

I like rabbit-people and hate co-ops, this might be a game for me!
Hey. Looks fun do you know if that fault has been fixed?
They did address it, you can check out their updates on Kickstarter and also my coverage on Crowdfunding Countdown to see the updates
