Yeah. These videos are oddly addictive
Dear Becky, Whatever happens in my day, or my life, watching you always makes me feel better. I love watching your happy, successful homestead. Thank You for sharing your life with us.

Becky, Thank you for showing the bare drywall and plywood. Not everyone would be brave enough to show it. It is so honest and shows you don't have to wait for everything to be just ever so perfect to be able to start to enjoy living the homesteading lifestyle. Thank you.
My six girls walk around the house now saying "Let's Gow!" in their best Becky accent. Thanks again for adding value to the UA-cam community.
Hahaha they sound so cute.
+Becky's Homestead hi beautiful lady
OrangeJeepDad like
Your house is perfect :D Thank you Becky ! Loved coming over ,even if it was on "You Tube " . God bless you :)
Cool cabin.
I’ve loved watching your videos for over a year now! My mom and I can’t wait to have our own homestead and I learned from you how to keep chickens! 🙏
*Next time you are missing a string to level - try the water level technique. Fill a hose with water and lay it on the ground between the pilings ( **tinyurl.com/y27env9r** ). Then lift up both ends so you can see the water inside; one to the starting spot and the other to the spot you want to level. The water in the hose at each end will tell you exactly where level is.*

Amazing After all of that work I can't even fathom how good it must feel to just look at the walls. What a spiritual cleanse.
Hubby and I live in Maine and planted a 100 bush U-Pick blueberry orchard 15 yrs ago.Bought our fixer-upper but the mortgage is low-built various raised beds and now replacing them all because of rot. Now we are building with indestructible materials. At the moment we are building a Hoophouse/greenhouse,and are framing in the door and window, then the plastic goes on. We built our pole barn, 4 bay garage, 3 big sheds. Next spring its baby chicks, but building the hen house this year!! You did a great job coming as far as you have!!
Ever thought of making a nice curtain to cover under the sink. It's so nice. I grew up with them
would LOVE to see an updated cabin tour, i know you've done a lot of work since this one :)
How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
Hi how are you doing over there hope your having a good time today
Great job! That's so smart putting all the wet stuff in one room to save on plumbing!
That's a good bathroom idea! I never thought about a freezer until I saw yours. I was going to get an old fashioned drying rack pulley thingie and I think I will still put it in my bathroom as it makes sense to keep all the wet stuff together. I will be saving up for a wood fired water cylinder which will also go in the bathroom so it will be warm!
I’m Australian and we always have outside clothes line and dry our clothes in the fresh air and sunshine I’m always amazed at the fact that most American homes use tumble dryers to dry their cloths that is such a waste of power and your clothes don’t end up as fresh as they do when the sun and fresh air has dried them I guess it’s all about what you grow up with my mother is British and as a child her family had a rack that was suspended from the ceiling above the wood fired cooker and you could lower it to put clothes on it and then raise it back up into the rising heat coming of the stove but she also remembers laughing at the sight of her fart hers Panama’s frozen on the line looking like some one was in them and having ttonwait for them to thaw freezing clothes is just not a issue in the part of Australia that I am from
love you girl. almost 51, moving back to US with my Hungarian hubby, and you have inspired me!!!! I am very handy already, but now, wow, i am no longer afraid of anything.
Becky, you are an amazing lady! I love all your tips and ideals and the way you do things, you are very efficient. Love all your videos!
I love Becky’s Personality, her Voice, haha! AND I Bet She’s Super Funny because it just seems like it! I wish I was her BFF! Haha! 🤗😂🤣
I absolutely love the simplicity of your family's lifestyle.
This small house of Becky's is great and she is fantastic in building it herself,I love small houses, who would want a mansion she has everything she needs in one small package

Your kitchen table is GORGEOUS, what a great idea to use a wagon wheel with a glass top! Thank you for these wonderful videos, God bless you Becky!
Hi Becky. My name is Annette and i´m from Sweden. After watching your movies. i become convinced. i have to brake my ratrace. and start groving my own vegetables and live a simplier life. Thanks for all sharing. Annette from Sweden.
I am in love with her creation and must confess in love
💕😘 with Becky..!
What an awesome Woman
& Human Being...🙏
Becky, I'm loving your homesteading video blog. Although I'm a physically disabled person, I have a few friends who are homesteaders in Oklahoma. I'm going to share your tips. I LOVE your no nonsense harmonious ideas!
Hello How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
I don't have anywhere to put up a pot rack but I came up with a rustic backsplash behind my stove made with burlap and pallet wood. I had a great time and it works fantastic!
Hello How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
I air dry / hang dry a lot of my clothes too. I do put socks, towels, and sheets in the dryer. I also have three adjustable shower rods in my spare bathroom (you could put them in your main bathroom, too) and hang clothes on those shower rods. They are not expensive and they are wrapped with vinyl so they don't mess up the fabric or rust as they are not metal. You can buy them at any box store. Just twist them to fit your space, there are short ones and long ones.
These are wonderful tips! the corner cabinet and the pot rack will be utilized by our family :) I agree about the microwave! We haven't had one in 4 years and I haven't missed it one bit. Such a lovely home!
P.s. I also love having all of the water in one room. Very clever.
@@adoringfamily Hello How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
Becky, you have a beautiful home!! all the best to you!!
Best dryer ever! Doubles as a humidifier. You're the best Becky!
I like the idea of hanging the wet laundry onto hangers for drying, next to your washer, then placing in the closet when dried. Smart and making a task easy... thanks for sharing.
Becky I like your small house and well planned out living in it.. never thought of a large wide hall way but makes sense now.. love the idea all the water in one place... and your dryer system.. We don't use a microwave either and don't plan on it..
LOVE your old sink!!! I don't use a microwave either. Never for food. Works good to disinfect sponges though! Love your house and farm. I am new here and enjoy your videos! Thanks!!
I was a lucky child I spent my life camping and hiking and we were so poor..... .but we had each other we learned that things are for helping people not for people to work hard to get things they never use or even wanted never needed. So once you get down to really quality basics your life is so much better. I am proud of my mother putting what counts and is important first. I love this house and the good thinking that went into it. looks like a happy home also. I will be ditching the rat race also I think my mom and this women have their heads on right. nice channel.!
Hello How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
Becky's living the dream, what a beautiful way to live it's always been my dream but never in my grasp. So thank you for showing you're life & sharing your knowledge atleast i have this to escape to & dream about. God bless
Becky thanks so much for your video. Your cabin is great and like you said, 'it covers all the bases'. It's been my dream to live in a log cabin. I'm going to go and watch more of your videos. Thanks again.
How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
Just discovered your videos. Love the way you present your ideas. Thank you for sharing so many interesting projects!
Hi Becky....in your commentary you mention several times what "we" have/do/want etc.....how many of you live in your small house?
I have same question.
that's an awesome, unique and beautiful Wagon Wheel table... Ingenious
I really like the inside of your cabin. Oh I would like my own cabin built soon. Thank you for sharing your ideas
I love your channel and your cabin! We live in a tiny house/small house 🏡 480 sq ft, 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom. And I love it... especially since it’s also paid off! Cost us less than $10k. 🥰👍
800 SQ FT IS A GOOD SIZED HOME, then add a beautiful treed area and animals and your sure not roughing it. Found you under the search tiny homes... I don't think it could be called that. A very nice farming home. Thanks for sharing.
+Carla Garrett I don't think she ever said she was "roughing it" but do you live in 800 sq ft? That is WAY smaller than the average home so even though it's not tiny, like 172 sq ft, it is certainly smaller than the majority of homes out there. And probably yours too but like I said, she never said she was roughing it. She's loving it!
@@user-rw6fi2me2x Hello How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
I want a sink like that! I love what you have done, you are sooooo smart!
Hi Becky's Homestead one last thing I must have in my home is the internet! I can go without the microwave (1 year and counting) and a television 9 years and counting but I must have my internet! LOL I need it for work and watching video's like yours. Thanks for sharing!
Hello How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
Becky, I love your videos. Could you tell me the outside dimensions of your cabin?
You are an inspiration, keep up the good work!
You had me at "Nothing healthy comes out of a microwave"
Me too! lol
Words I live by
Me too lol
What about reheating (homecooked) leftovers?
Yh
Hey Becky, I plan on getting a cabin kit most likely when I get my land. Love your videos as always. You have a beautiful homestead.
Thanks for good hints. I bought an old farm house (about 100 years), (150 m2) but right now I use only 75 m2. I use traditional wood heating but I have also radiators. Your kitchen looks great. I must use similar ways to fix pots, pans, plates etc. Luckily I found antique furniture from the storage building. I can use those in kitchen because space is needed. I try produce my own food so I must buy only meat, fish and milk products from the market. I wish you good luck there. All the best for you. PS My farm is located on an Island (60 km x 30) but continent can be reached in 30 minutes by a local ferry. Life is very quiet here and there are not so called light pollution. I have lot of space for kitchen garden. I can see stars so well. :)
Very good use of space Becky
Miss Becky you are full of common sense! Love your style!

I got more tips from this lady in 5 minutes than several months at other sites.
This video has a lot of great information. Thanks for taking the time to make and post. Love the cabin, seems comfortable and functional. subbed!
Love the simplicity, lovely!
I've always wanted to build my own home and live on a homestead. Hope I can do it one day. Love the idea of a wet room! Tho the no cabinets would drive me nuts, I hate things out in the open. We too got rid of our microwave years ago and never turned back.
How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
Not having a drier in the winter Creates a Lot of Excess Moisture that can cause mold to grow since you are having clothes up in an in closed space in the bathroom. Add a back porch & add a dryer space with a space for extra pantry things too
Way to go! I've only met two other females in my lifetime who built their house. Great work!
Becky, your minimalism has inspired me!
Now I know that it's not my imagination, you have lost a TON of weight! LOVE IT! I have too and it's b/c of eating what I raise/grow and removing all gunk! Love your vids, keep up the good work! *HUUGS* and Texas Alohas to ya! ^_^
Thank you Bridgette. Raising your own food is definitly healthier. Less chemicals and sugar and salt.
I concur. Here's to the ultimate in healthy, happy living! *HUUGS* and TFS! ^_^
Brian Smith Becky is beautiful either way. If she gets any more skinnier we will have to worm her. Lol 😂

Thank you for showing us all your beautiful home hope to see more in future if you could!
Fantastic home. Only one thing surprises me, that you did not go off grid instead of grid tied. Maybe you mentioned it somewhere and I missed it. Thanks for sharing. Cheers,Patrick
thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful home
nice video I'm a new subscriber and I'm on a binge watch wishing I could get were you are right now. I grew up like this but I ran from this lifestyle thinking my life would be better, boy was i wrong.
Hi! I just started watching your videos and I'm really enjoying them - so many interesting things and great tips. You have such a likable, friendly persona - your little cabin is so nice. Thanks!
Cozy cabin...I ❤️❤️❤️log cabins!!!

Awesome and thorough information in a logical sequence. Thank You!!
Great job becky. I so envy you. What a wonderful life
Love your sweet, not too little, log cabin:) Since it is very humid where I live, it’d take forever for the clothes to dry, so I would get a stack washer and dryer. I’ ve used them in many of my houses and they are no bigger than a washer, width wise. And since I live alone and am not the greatest cook, I’d mount a microwave over the stove.
OMG, Becky I just found you and I feel so connected. I would love to do what you have done, but have far less energy. I so appreciate your sharing all your simple ideas. I'm going tomorrow for lye to start on soap and am going to finish the chicken coop my DH doesn't have time for.
Me encantó Becky! Muy buenas tus ideas...No dudo q has construido un hermoso hogar. Greetings firm Argentina
Wow becky, this house looks super interesting and cozy. Thank you for sharing!
I love your videos thank you 😃 i cant wait for my own homestead 😊
You have done a great job and it's very apparent you are a happy person! Love it and your vids!
How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
You gave me some great ideas - I"m doing a Cement block structure - was going to keep it all open but love what you did with the rooms - one thing I am thinking to put the Mud room/Bathroom/Laundry room right by the front door - maybe it's a guy thing - if you have any ideas that maybe you would do different please let me know - I"m planning on a 24 x 32 with small loft.
I suggest putting the Mud/Bath/Laundry directly by the BACK door. Front door should be the inviting/cozy place where friends come in and hang out, with easy access to the kitchen.
Ah Becky you have everything that I am aspiring to... I have the horses and the bit of land it's just finishing off the cabin...it's driving me nuts! I have so much other things I need to do... the horse is at my sister's stables but I really want to get a Highland pony cross and start training it to pull a little trap... I think I will need it when I go offgrid... I think it would be easier to get stuff like wood from up at the log splitter and water for drinking because I haven't got a spring at my bit and I either have to go to the house or the spring further into the woods. I will be rainwater harvesting but I think the spring is best for drinking. I get really frustrated when I see beautiful nplaces like yours! I love I!
Hello How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
I love your sink! We had sinks like that when I grew up.
How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
Hi how are you doing over there hope your having a good time today
I am so amazed you built your own cabin. I think you will inspire a lot of women. Please tell me how you put the logs on your upper walls and how you put your roof on by yourself? I am also curious as to how you poured your own foundation? Were the windows hard to install without any help? You are super girl. How come your husband did not help you? Was he working two jobs or just manning the camera? Like I said I am truly amazed by you. I am going to buy your book on log homes. Thanks for all you do.
really love the cabin, wish i could build one myself :)
"ANOTHER THING I DID..."
Haha. Very nice work!
I too, have planned a large walk in wardrobe for storage in ours and having the laundry and bathroom combined. Slightly differently, but good to see it works for someone else! Great ideas. Thank you for sharing your home. =) I loved your clear presentation.
LOVE the Table!!!
Inspirational Becky...thank you
I have a small home too .and I love it. it's easy to maintain. its the cutest house.
You had me at log cabin. Becky it is amazing how much common sense points you hit on in this video. I too want to move to the country( south Carolina,Texas, etc) to get away from the $hit hole state I'm living in now. And what you said about keeping all of the "wet" items in one place is genius. And I'm betting that some of today's home builder's wouldn't even think of it. I'd be very interested in the log cabin home. 800 sqft is plenty for most people, they just don't know it. Like comedian George Carlin said..
" The reason you keep buying a bigger house is to put your stuff in. And then you have to buy an even bigger house is because you got more stuff". Anyway Great video and thanks for posting something on UA-cam that actually serves a purpose. 2 THUMBS UP
This is very nice Becky!!!!!!!
I love your house!
Becky, you're the bomb. Love the cabin, your attitude towards microwaves and the fact that you built it. I wish you the best and happiness in your place. I'm semi hooked so I'm going to look at your other vids. Great Job and "You work it girl"
So cozy, I love it.
i am in love with that wagon wheel table

Absolutely brilliant!! My wife and want to move in right away :-) LOL. Your planning is first rate and you definitely know the difference between need and want. Great job! Do you have kids and what do they think? (Not to be nosy….just curious) Our four boys would think we were crazy. :-) We subscribed and are looking forward to watching the rest of your videos.
my husband and myself live in a 1,100 sf home, and I can tell you this. Its to big!
we only use less than 400 sf of it. all the time I think this home should be for a family not just us two. I would love to downsize and free myself of so much clutter!
its so nice to see other people live the life they really want.
I love your home. Well done.

♥️I absolutely love this way of living♥️ and that a female can show the way- EH! 🇨🇦
Becky, I love your videos. I really enjoyed seeing the inside of your home. You show the outside of your home with the animals, but I always wondered how much land you actually have there. Would you share that info with us? Thanks again for the great work!
Those small cooker and fridge are standard size in England every house has them that size ,unless you go for a range cooker and a American fridge which are bigger ,but usually it’s the smaller ones
Hello How are you doing today my name is Eric Moore and how is the weather over there
I noticed your Pyrex mixing bowls under the cabinet. I have the same set lol. My Mom (God rest her soul) gave them to me . She used them everyday when I was growing up. I love your table, I was wondering if you made it yourself ? Your Home is just wonderful. I enjoy your videos so much.
