This jumped out to me today when I was just experimenting with the Fender Deluxe Reverb Vibrato Model in the Helix, alongside the new Cabs....With one small tweak, I feel like this is a super satisfying, versatile and round clean tone - oodles of Fender juice!

Sounds great. One of the most beautiful sounds I ever got was from a '64 or '65 brown face deluxe (not mine unfortunately). I have a good preset dialed in for the Stomp's Deluxe but I would love to load yours in and try it. For sure will add the EQ to mine.

Nice! Is that low boost mainly for feel in the room and then you would cut some with an EQ in your DAW once you add drums/bass? Everywhere else I see people cutting lows in the helix but maybe that's so they're more mix ready?

DR is my go to amp model! Maybe it’s just personal preference, but I always put my spring Reverb blocks before the cab. I just feel like it’s closer to what the amp’s reverb would actually sound like-colored by the cab. Any thoughts?

Have you done a video comparing your UAFX Dream 65 to a helix model? I thought you had but I can't find it.
The Low/High Shelf Block can really make a Preset come alive! Since getting the 3.50 Update, have you compared any of the tones you can get in a Line 6 Helix to the same Amps/Cabs in a Fractal unit? Like you, I'm amazed at the great tones we can easily dial in with the 3.50 Update.
Check out Jon Kaneshiro guitar his tones are great on the fractal unit
@@addisonbuhl3233 Yeah, those are some nice Tones on the Fractal. What I'd like to see is a comparison between a Fractal and Helix unit, using the same guitar, and with someone who I'm pretty familiar with their expertise in dialing in both units. I think John is more familiar with the Helix, but he does have both units, and I've been watching his videos for a couple years now demonstrating both Modelers. He's always seemed fair, honest, and balanced in his videos, so I'd like to see him do the comparison.

try the Kinky boost between the amp and cab and set gain to zero for a little magic!

Is this exact preset a part of your 'Helix and HX Stomp General Presets'?
Do you offer private lessons like in a zoom call or something? I would love to learn about what all these specific parameters do so I can experiment with tone instead of just copying others lol
You should check out Jason Sadites. He goes over mostly every block on the Helix on his channel.
Can you compare the Blackface sounds in the Helix to the Mixwave Milkman Creamer bundle, please. It's incredible.

I need an easy setup which requires less time to faff about with thus leaving me more time to practoce and play. Is the Stomp that?
It's hard to say when we don't know what you consider "too much faffing." You can certainly lose lots of time tweaking with every available modeller, but if you are the kind of person that can dial in tones quickly because you are familiar with signal chains and know what you want, you can quickly get a playable sound and just focus on playing. But some people get easily distracted by having so many options immediately accessible and don't have the willpower to divide their time between faffing and practicing, so you just have to know yourself, really.
No, just buy one of the new UA amp pedals if ur looking for simplicity
@@HReadDavis i tried the Ruby through an FRFR and it was awful. Besides that, I need a few effects, hence thoughts about multi fx.
@@LysanderLH word, if you like what you see here then by all means buy the hx stomp. It’s just not the first thing that comes to mind for a quick/simple route for practice

you have to go back and keep checking the folder link you were given when purchased his stuff. if you bought the general presets folder access then it should be

Aw man... I wish I was more tech savvy. Just paid for helix patches and getting the message "unable to import preset because it contains unrecognised models". Any help would be much appreciated
Do you know if your helix is updated to 3.5? If not you can do that through hx edit!
