One of the things that I love about your video's, is that they help me to run mental exercises within my own niche. I like to sometimes watch it a few times & then brainstorm out the process (using my own niche), pause it, review & contemplate an idea; as I outline it on an open Word Doc. Sometimes the bumps in the road can be a bit overwhelming, but this practice seems to help me to minimize tripping over my own ideas. Right now, I'm working on a restoration/repair project in a very saturated niche, which also has a high demand of interest. The project needs to be done regardless of whether I document it or not...So now I'm trying to also learn (as I go) how to effectively use a GoPro Hero 9 Black, so I have all original content to utilize from the start for both blog posts & video. It too can be overwhelming sometimes, as I'm new to recording my own work...I may have to do voice-overs later on when the time comes, because talking while I'm trying to work I find quite challenging. Any thoughts or recommendations for a beginner when choosing a user friendly editing software & mic? I'm probably going to end up with having to do a lot of voice-over work & captions when the time comes to editing. Thank you, Miles...your content is always fantastic!
If you are an iphone person, this mic is great amzn.to/43V9wsv Yes, plan to add voice overs after... 'divide and conquer' the project... Get all the vid, then come back later and explain it. You can hire great editors in Eastern Europe on UpWork for $15 - $20/hr or you can use iMovie on mac or Davinci Resolve or Sony Vegas Movie to DIY. Remember, you're building your process for the long term... It gets way easier once you've got your process and have done it a few times over. Keep pushing!
I made it to the end!! Ahh so excited to have discovered you! You were also mentioned on a Reddit forum :) This will be my 3rd time and probably last trying and look forward to steady consistency. I would have never thought a blog/website would be the way to go, but it all makes sense and learning so much more with the SEO and Google console! The foundation of online success. Happy to hear this might give me the traction I need. Stay tuned!!
Thank you for all the value you provide! Im currently going through your free course and setting up a blog and I'll also do a UA-cam. I've done the Niche Navigator and know what I want to do. My question is, if I took a course where I learned everything and I want to promote it, how to I go about creating content and value without giving everything in the course away for free? Like how do you find the line not to cross since of course the content will be on the same topic.
Great video. So glad that I found all of your videos they definitely have helped me in more ways than I can say thanks! I too have been in customer service forever lol and want a change just like you described. Going to try your 90 day challenge starting Oct. Thanks again for such great content. 😊
Imagine starting a brand new affiliate blog using Authority Hackers but with a twist. For the first 2 years, we are ONLY providing valuable content our site. This builds trust, authority, and a list. We don’t plan on selling anything or (I might) even hold off on sharing affiliate links. Just to demonstrate that our free content is better than other people’s paid. Would this be wise?
The optimal path is in-between the two. You risk burning out if you see zero rewards for 2 years. Only promote the BEST products and run some ads. But that focus on helping your audience as #1 will serve you greatly

I can literally sit and listen to this guy all day long...great content always, very authentic always...
I appreciate that
