I'm thinking they're high most of the time when doing episodes, so their memories are shot at this point. (Not based on any actual evidence. It's just the way they speak, or point out certain things. Could be the constant pressure of trying to make conversation/jokes while concentrating on a video game.)

I just don’t really think Gordon would be the least bit interested in coming on this show. He’s just super uptight and I don’t think his sense of humor would align with the low-brow, casual humor of the Grumps.
I’d love it if I was completely wrong, though. If he was interested in it, it would be a hell of a great episode.
