Sadly we don’t have a prolific striker and Saka and Martineli don’t have enough in them to Handel the pressure of games this season we also don’t sign adequate backup for them so it’s another near miss season.
No way you put saka and martinelli in the same bracket, saka delivers and plays 90 mins every game for Arsenal and England. Martinelli hasn’t been anywhere near as good for over a season
Honestly, saka is lethal but defenders can study and know his style of play, martinelli on the other hand is not finishing of his chances, trosaard when he starts he slows down our play but when he comes from the bench he is lethal, Jesus only the lord knows when his moment arises, so I would say sterling is our answer who it think is good finisher I think arteta need to be bold enough to play martinelli Kai saka and play sterling as a number 10 with party and rice completing the team or may be go with jorginho for partey. Defence no comment but would love to see Califiori to have a crack.

Odegaard’s importance to this team is so clear to see when he’s in the team and it’s just so sad to see that it takes for him to get an injury for people to realise that. He needs massive respect on his name, he’s the heartbeat of this team, without him the body doesn’t function properly.

Injuries & suspensions are expected to happen over a full season, why Arsenal (which is not a small club) allowed themselves to fall into this situation when they sold E Smith R & loaned out Vieira without having a reliable backup to odegaard (with him out for a significant period of time)? Now, other players have to step up in his absence!
Martinelli is a limited, inadequate winger and that’s why people talk about him almost like a fullback all the time. It’s time to move on, there’s wingers like Rodrygo who is twice the player Martinelli is, playing for £50k less per week.

Turkish, spot on. Arsenal totally failed in the transfer window. They didn't do what was required, just like many transfers windows over the past 20 years. We should've never been in a position to rely on a 17 y/o in such a critical position.
The problem is we ship off ESR, Viera, and Nelson. We only pick up Sterling in those positions. Why didnt buy 2 players to take their place?
I appreciate Turkish bringing the attacking stats but there should be a big disclaimer. We were down to 10 men against Brighton and naturally our attacking stats would be lower than City’s because we had to absorb pressure, take more shots on goal, and could not go on the attack. Additionally, Ødegaard was carrying a knock during that match, and of course our attacking was dreadful without Ødegaard in the Spuds match. I questioned not buying an attacking midfielder, prior to the transfer window, and now we suffer the consequences.
If we want any chance of the title we need to go there & win.
As a footballer Martinelli isn't underperforming. He's underperforming as a finisher. He's proven he's got great finishing. He needs to force the blend. It's a matter of "How great does he want to be?" If it's the right answer it will knock him off his comfort zone.

As I stated at the start of the season, we needed to bringbinva world class striker like Gyokeres and competition for Saka, who has become too comfortable. I really hoped we would go for Olise, who is setting the Bundasliga alight with 4 goals already, and he's been sub upto today. Instead we got Sterling. ESR already has 3 goals and Nelson netted his second today both from coming on as sub. We've sold players who would have given us goals if Arteta would have trusted them, but instead he puts his faith innthe likes of Martenelli, Jesus and Sterling, who won't get 15 goals between them this season. We will be lucky to grab a tol 4 spot this season, and if we fail to secure silverware, Arteta has to go!

If you swapped out fixtures with theirs would the stats still be the same, they normally struggle against spurs away they got battered by villa away and Brighton are never an easy team to beat
