Mannnn I could tear up from all the nostalgia from this game....man my mom got me this for Christmas of 96.... I was 7 and I was probably the BIGGEST kobe bryant fan in the world....I had all kobe posters, jerseys, and memorabilia all over my room....my and my cousin would go AT IT on this game for hours and hours, it makes me want to tear up man because it makes me remember life from back then like it was just yesterday....I'll never forget me and him was so serious the family all watched up play in the living room me and him put on a show for them....I the masterd this game by 97 but so did he this is all we played! And now for it to hit me like man that was 26 and 25 years ago.....like now I'm the old 33 year old and I have a daughter that is 7 just like I was at that moment....this channel is the ONLY channel that is dedicated to ALL retro games and that why I been a dedicated sub for almost 4 years now!

Great story. Since it’s getting close to Christmas, this game popped in my head and I decided to look it up as I actually got this game for Christmas as well. My Mom would let me open a gift early on Christmas Eve every year and this was my choice that year to open early. My brother and I stayed up all night Christmas Eve playing. Brings back so many memories. I loved this game.
I remember playing this one time and it must had a glitch. I was playing either with the east All Stars or the Knicks. I had Patrick Ewing coming down the court and he hit about 15 3 pointers straight from the same spot in 1 quarter 😂

I was 13. Played it for years until NBA live 96 came out. It was the greatest game ever. Had all teams and players on it.
