Oooh! I’ve been wanting to start a Lina Ova pattern for a long time but never thought about taking the outer border off. Now I’m obsessed! I see a new start in my near future (like today maybe!) Thank you once again for all your kind words about my fabric shop! I’m so glad you like the new colors you just got.

Great stitching Laura. Yes, I am hoping to Stitch the Olympics - it will be the most exercise I have had. In fact, I’m just finishing up the Tour de France! Unfortunately I can’t do the summer retreat as my godson and his young family (3 yr old and 1 yr old) are coming for the weekend so with dogs that are not too happy with little people and a swimming pool I won’t be doing much stitching! Anyway, we don’t get to see them that often so it’s a treat. Enjoy Megan and Liz being with you and happy birthday to Mo. My birthday is on the 24th and hubby and I are off to a game lodge for a couple of nights. Happy stitching.

Hi Laura😊. I've just seen a Lina Ova Mary Poppins completed stitch at the Stitch NJ retreat this past weekend. It was just a lovely stitch and a lovely design. The Anne of Green Gables looks equally as pretty! I haven't done many monochromatic pieces, but I have to say the ones I have done were very enjoyable to stitch. There is definitely a calming sense I get when stitching with one color. Hope you enjoy your weekend visit with the girls, and happy birthday to Mo!
There are so many July birthdays! Happy Birthday to your husband and I hope you have a great time with your girls. My birthday was Thursday and we are having family time tomorrow to celebrate. I've added another chart to my want to stitch list after seeing Christmas Town. I have a friend who is a huge Aston Villa fan. You're making great progress on that piece. Take care

Hi Laura! Thanks for sharing your beautiful stitching! For the I.....Ink Circles, Imaginating (I'm using Bethlehem by Imaginating for my I); Ireland; island; something with icicles, igloo; stitching with an indigo color. I'm going to be stitching for the Olympics; however, I don't have anything slotted for the 7th....synchronized swimming....part of a SAL or recommended by another stitcher). I'm doing the 24HOCS....won't get 24 hours but stitching as much as I can. Happy Birthday to Moe! Happy Stitching!

I'm so far behind on watching FlossTube that I've decided to just jump in with everyone's current episodes. You're so close on the Owl Forest piece! I think that's going to be my next big start.. but I'm trying to finish out the year with working on my existing WIPs except for smaller pieces. I thought Comfort Lighthouse looked familiar when Andrew showed it, but I wasn't sure why; it's a tempting piece to me I love the colors and the lighthouse. I'm sure you're enjoying your visit.. it's a fun reason to miss all of the events last weekend. I didn't get to partake, either. We have concerts tonight and tomorrow, so I changed my work schedule at 911 to cover shifts that were open last weekend. 🪡👠

Been stitching off and on for nearly 40 years and getting into more now that I am retired 😊. I love doing English cottages, country things and gifts for friends and family. Enjoyed your video and all your projects. I have the submarine pattern in statsh but not kitted up yet, trying to kit up Halloween Quaker and still continue on with other projects. No summer games here even when I join a few things, like garden sal, strawberry moon sal, book club and stitch, I find it hard to keep up or stitch so many differnt things. I tend to get fixated thinking it is almost done, not that big etc. Only stitching about a year so I guess my judgement is off on how long some of these things will take…hope to join you on some stitch in the future.
