I always wonder how come in Army and Air Force JROTCS the rifles in color guard are on the same shoulder? The left rifle is on a right shoulder. In the Navy and Marine Corp JROTC for the left rifle we do it on left shoulder. (C/LTJG Cragg Bowie Bulldog Battalion) Maryland. Area 5
So, are both rifles supposed to be on the right arm, and not wait for the command "Ready, CUT" after carry colors? Like, I'm training to be on a competition color guard for my NJROTC unit in Area 8, and I'm looking at the differences between AJROTC and NJROTC color guards and there are a decent bit
Yeah, navy Color Guard is a lot more different to other Color Guard’s mostly on how they do everything. For ex, the flags when told to order colors, grab the flags and push them on their back.

Thomas Cragg AF, Navy, and Marines all do outside shoulder. Army is the only service that does both left shoulders

Colo guard always has rifles on the side

Unarmed Color Guard means Jv Color Guard
It’s just in the unarmed division:)
