Full description
Site of a Second World War heavy anti aircraft battery, west of Baysgarth Farm. Designated 'Humber T' or 'Humber H24', it was listed as unarmed in 1942, and was manned by 270 Battery of the 91st Royal Artillery Regiment in 1940. The outline of the four emplacements is clearly visible, along with the internal access roads. [1]
