I'm in a similar position to you we're except I'm getting like D and Es in chemistry, I'm only 4 months in the as course and feel like everything I think is right is wrong - did u simply just do past papers to get A* ? I mean what other revision techniques did you have?
Anna-Marie Uzokwe hey I'm exactly the same, been getting Es and Ds but I heard you should make notes and then do as many past papers as you can which is what I'm going to do
Hello, this is Gopi Patel. I am taking Principles of General Chemistry 1 this fall 2020 semester. I really liked the tips you shared about board exams on reviewing past papers. I don't have to take board exams but we do have to take a final exam so I will definitely try the trick if our teacher does have past review papers for exams.
I'm about 13 weeks away from my exams and I'm super struggling with chemistry and because of this, I lack the motivation to revise all the time. any advice cause I know I need to revise but for some reason, I'm losing all motivation. I see there is so much to cover in so little time
haroon miah I'm sitting my AQA AS this year and mass spectrometer (time of flight) is one of the first topics we did...not sure why it was not on your spec.. what exam board did u do?
Hey Ryhan, not sure if you reply to comments but you seem rather keen and confident on science subjects. I'd like to take chemistry for my upcoming year but I'm scared about how the maths will be. What do you think of the maths? :)
Hi Ryhan ! I want to ask you that by going through course books and doing past papers for several times , will I be able to get an A grade in any subject ? (Especially Maths , physics and chemistry )
Can you give tips on what to do before past papers? So when you're trying to actually understand the content. How did you make notes and how did you learn them?
Could you please explain to me how the practical learning and for the practical endorsement situation works as in how many do I need to learn and are the practicals that I would need to perform going to be anything related to the title of the practical? If that makes any sense could you please help me understand how to learn the practicals and what do I need to learn and how many please for the AQA or OCR A exams I have no idea if there’s any difference, I’m a private candidate so i really don’t know what to learn😅
yo i get what your saying but im doing a2 chem aqa new spec im sorry ur advice is outdated its applicable but ngl your time was better and easier i wish you the best for medicine
This is true, I used to use the chunky textbooks and got a D in like my first ever mock, I only use Chemrevise now and I just got an A in My yr13 mock!! Chemrevise is such a godsend
I'm in the first year of a level chemistry so I'm doing my AS, I'm currently on a D and it's November but is this normal??? when do u think I'll start to improve?? love your videos, they're really helpful x
Emma Whitmore I'm the same and it's really scaring me, making me feel like I'll just stay like this for the whole 2 years, especially when seeing others in my lessons getting such good grades
Pl0x Ayuda use the CGP revision guides, they have the same amount of information as the CGP textbooks, it's just in bullet points rather than long sentences, add details from class notes but the revision guides are good enough
I'm an A2 student. Scored B in chem last year. And now with only 3 months to cies, I still haven't made any progress. Got D in my mids. And I am fine in my other subjects Alhamdolilah but failing BADLY at chem. I don't want it to ruin my grade 😭
What's up with these people, not necessarily the requirements are the same in every country, in Bangladesh they won't even let to sit for medical admission exam without having physics plus maths and obviously along with chem and bio.
You make it sound easy and then I get to revising and I realise I'm just dumb

Shan C trust, and there aren't any past papers
I know! everyone I know that's doing chem is getting really bad grades cos it's such a difference
How many exams do we take at the end of the 3 years is it 5 exams?
