Both teams gave it back to each other in the second half. Defense on field too long, bit came up big at end. I cannot understand that if the goal was to manage the 4th quarter to ease into the win, why not play Greene more since he is better when the intent is to run?

Deoge wanted to lose so bad lmao. Not being harsh but the last time deoge through a pass on target was the TCU game of 2019…am I right or am I right? Even the touchdowns he throws are ALWAYS under thrown and all of the screen passes are ALWAYS overthrown. Even when they are caught, that is a waste of at least three yards because the receiver has to stretch out and loses his momentum. Football is a game of Inches so every time the ball is slightly overthrown it’s losing us yards. Even the good plays look so difficult with him. We have the receivers to be a great offense we just need a qb that can get the ball to them
I know that last throw was awful by doege. But it was also an awful play call. We have one of the best rb’s in the nation. Even if we didn’t get the first we could’ve milked the clock to about 1:30. The punt would’ve put them further back making it harder to score. I don’t get it at all. I also don’t like how we went from throwing bombs in the 1st half to playing safely in the 2nd (offensively). If it’s not broken don’t fix it… great game though

Over the last few weeks, I've seen what you are talking about. Lol they are horrible. Texas is out of the question now because they can't seem to finish games well. Oklahoma is the most inconsistent, cluster f*** of an undefeated team I've ever seen. The big 12 is pretty much up in the air between Baylor, Iowa St., Oklahoma St. And maybe Oklahoma. And none of those teams are even that good. Lol
Defensive play calling was horrible in the 2nd half. Every time we had the Hokies in 3rd/4th and long, we went to a "prevent" defense and gave them the first down to keep their drives alive. Prevent defense does NOT work! The team played great overall, Doege made some bad decisions and was not accurate(WR's bailed him out alot), O-line got "weak" in second half and wasn't opening any holes for Leddie, but the worst part of the game was the poor offensive play calling and the "idea" of prevent defense. Just play the damn defense that got you to the 3rd/4th and long situations, as they are what works!

I like Neal Brown and it's nice having really good defenses, but the offense under him hasn't been very good. The QB position has held back NB and the offense so far, but I think he's a really good coach!

Acc is beyond weak this year the New BIG 12 IS 20 TIMES better. You take out the terrible Acc officiating. This game should of been 41-14
