No complaints through winter season, hydro2 is resistant to chemicals so you should be good. I'm in Florida so no first hand testing on the ice chemical issue but its far more chemical resistant that traditional sealants.

Yes, you can use a pressure washer instead of hose nozzle but be aware that the pressure washer may blow some hydro up onto other panels so rinse them also. I have a hand pump sprayer I basically used that and it foamed at the same time but only do panel-by-panel and the results are even better than just misting
I like having water bead like that. As I go down the road from the car wash, what ever is left of the water beads and runs up the hood if by some chance it didn't get caught in a bigger drop rolling by. I look in my rear view mirror and I hear and see water that is on the roof running off.

They take it to the car wash at night because the sun or a hot surface will mess up the application of the product by causing streaks. It seems that a hose will work if you can get a strong stream of water. I have a 100 ML bottle one the way to my house now. I have already tried Carpro products before and had some idea what to expect before I tried them. I was very pleased with the water beading and shine from Cquartz that I had used on a car I no longer have. I got a nearly identical car to that one that I had because it was in a rear end accident and totaled, The car was so identical that the paint color was the only thing different from the first one. I now have a blue '06 Jetta. Before I began buying nano coatings for my car I knew what to expect and I am happy to say that they worked really well as expected, I also like Carpro products for being usable on glass and black trim. I am one of millions of people who had the problem with conventional wax leaving ugly white blotches on black trim and it does not come off easily. I might take my waxes to a garage sale next time my sister has one at her house and get rid of my old waxes. They still work but not as well as a nano coating.
