Being that I am from the UK and have family responsibilities it is highly unlikely that I will have the opportunity to see the American National Parks in person. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to see them with you both. I love that you are both generous enough to share your adventures with us all. Thanks for your sincere concern Natalie. We really are in a good place in all 3 of those areas. Having our best friend in the van as a sounding board to share life with makes all the difference. We continue to make these videos because we feel the value and joy that so many of you get from seeing/experiencing the places we go together. Sometimes after so much effort and time has been pouring into a single video, and it doesn't perform like we think it should, we get frustrated, but then as soon as we read thoughtful comments that the video truly touched someone deeply, we realize the numbers don't matter any more. ❤️

What a beautiful description of your park videos; your videos remind me of my time in AmeriCorps NCCC doing trail work in Washington and Oregon. It was the most beautiful place. We worked a trail that had the most amazing view like the Panoramic. If you get a chance watching the sunrise at Mt . Rainer is magical. Thank you so much for highlighting the beauty of the US parks.
I was born and raised in Washington state. When you guys eventually decide someday to plant some Roots You might want to consider Washington State permanently. Because you would fit in beautifully. It is nice to have you back on Thursdays you're right.🙂🤗
@@Mrandmrsadventure whether it's small quiet towns or big cities Washington has it all. I have a new spot you might want to look into. A new National Park. Try the Hoh Rainforest. You will never want to leave I guarantee it. To me it's what heaven looks like. It's on the peninsula side of Washington. The peninsula is a good place to if you wanted to check it out for some day settling down. But don't miss the HOH rain forest it is heaven. Just be prepared it's the only rainforest in the Continental 48 states. And it is definitely a rainforest. Your best wet weather gear just in case even if it looks beautiful. Cuz you never know in the blink of an eye it can change.

Wow so beautiful! That cave you walked thru was so cool, do you know why it has the ridges like a turtle shell? That guy's walking stick was 💯👌and Alan never fails to make me laugh 😂 he reminds me of our parrot who walks around our house calling and looking for "Hagar" and we have no idea why, or who Hagar is! 🤔🙂. It always amazes the incredible beauty in our world, a world that because of our sin is under a curse, yet she is so spectacular. That and the sounds of the pine in the breeze, the sights and sounds of alpine meadows, and pine forest... my truest happy place! So grateful to my father for introducing me to the mountains and teaching me to be responsible and never take from Mother Earth or Father Sky without thanks and offering (I carry sage as a token of returning to earth what she has given me). Being out in nature and traveling to these amazing place is such a blessing and we are forever in awe of the wonderful creation all around us. We love that you have an avocado plant! We hope to have a garden one day in the future 💚
My grandfather was one of the builders of the old stone cabin up there, so good to see it again. My mom and I hiked to Camp Muir when I was 12, over 60 years ago. My grandfather told the story of violent lightning storms while the cabin was being lightning strikes that powdered rocks not far from them while the cabin was being built.
Wow Robin! That's incredible that your grandfather helped build them. It makes our day that we could share footage so you could see the cabins again 🤗 The weather and wind is so powerful on the mountains.
Perhaps you would enjoy climbing Mount Adams? It has a 2000 ft (elevation) glissade from the False Summit to Lunch Counter. A foam sit pad inside the pants works nicely for glissading! Did you go up to Crystal Mtn?
LOVE the fact that you keep using the "Allen" clip... My husband and I watched that video way too many times when it first premiered 🤣 We love our little critters!
I don't usually comment, but I am loving your national park series. I actually climbed and summited Mt. Rainier about 20 years ago. It was an amazing experience, but the wind does howl at Camp Muir and we were in a tent. Can't wait to see where you go next!

LOL, we juggled it around for several days and now found a sweet guy and his wife that we met one day on another trail. We blessed them with it to enjoy. It's a funny moment when you live in a van and ask someone if they would like your house plant 😂

Looks like you aren’t going to miss all those countries you visited before the virus came with so many beautiful and cool places in your own country to explore. You guys should buy a couple of those roll-up sleds, they’re light weight and portable and would be a hoot sliding down snowy mountains on. Another awesome adventure, really enjoyed. x
Next time we will have those sleds haha. We are extremely grateful to have had the ability to travel all across europe for 2.5 years prior to covid and the borders being closed. The US is filled with many outdoor gems and the National Parks are unique and hold heritage/tradition like no others we have experienced. See you next adventure! xx

It's been fun watching you go from my first home (San Diego county) to my current home (King county, Washington). I live within view of Mt Rainier and go there fairly often. I don't hike like you guys do, so I enjoy seeing it from your perpsective. I was recently at Reflection Lake and Sunrise for some star gazing, though. I take it you're off to see the Olympic NP soon. I love, love, love that park!!! (And if you don't see anything else on the coast - you MUST visit Ruby Beach. Go early in the morning. Pure magic!)

I just got done watching your video and I was really impressed because this past June I went to that Mount Rainier that you were at and didn’t get to take a trail because I use a walker. So I got to see it on your video and really enjoyed it, I love seeing all of your videos because I can go there virtually if I can’t go there physically so much thanks keep on your adventures

My grandfather was one of the builders of the old stone cabin up there, so good to see it again. My mom and I hiked to Camp Muir when I was 12, over 60 years ago. My grandfather told the story of violent lightning storms while the cabin was being lightning strikes that powdered rocks not far from them while the cabin was being built.
Wow Robin! That's incredible that your grandfather helped build them. It makes our day that we could share footage so you could see the cabins again 🤗 The weather and wind is so powerful on the mountains.

Perhaps you would enjoy climbing Mount Adams? It has a 2000 ft (elevation) glissade from the False Summit to Lunch Counter.
A foam sit pad inside the pants works nicely for glissading!

I don't usually comment, but I am loving your national park series. I actually climbed and summited Mt. Rainier about 20 years ago. It was an amazing experience, but the wind does howl at Camp Muir and we were in a tent. Can't wait to see where you go next!

Looks like you aren’t going to miss all those countries you visited before the virus came with so many beautiful and cool places in your own country to explore. You guys should buy a couple of those roll-up sleds, they’re light weight and portable and would be a hoot sliding down snowy mountains on. Another awesome adventure, really enjoyed. x
Next time we will have those sleds haha. We are extremely grateful to have had the ability to travel all across europe for 2.5 years prior to covid and the borders being closed. The US is filled with many outdoor gems and the National Parks are unique and hold heritage/tradition like no others we have experienced. See you next adventure! xx

It's been fun watching you go from my first home (San Diego county) to my current home (King county, Washington). I live within view of Mt Rainier and go there fairly often. I don't hike like you guys do, so I enjoy seeing it from your perpsective. I was recently at Reflection Lake and Sunrise for some star gazing, though. I take it you're off to see the Olympic NP soon. I love, love, love that park!!! (And if you don't see anything else on the coast - you MUST visit Ruby Beach. Go early in the morning. Pure magic!)
