The passion he puts into Cartman's voice is priceless. He does very well.
So weird hearing it without the pitch
Would have been great if still actually could do it ^^
@@cordaxg6261 he never could do it, its always been pitched up
@@beano8947 not in the first few seasons
@@ajuister He could probably still do it. In an interview years ago he said he had to tone Cartmans voice down because it was taking a toll on his voice after recording sessions.
How Trey does the Cartman voice naturally is beyond me. Wow
The mics are rigged to pitch their voices up. If you notice Trey moves from one mic to another.
@@jazzwebster9851 its because he’s not able to do the best at the voice anymore he still does it they even have a pitch in the show jow but he did it here so he could do it easier than normal otherwise it wouldn’t have sounded as good cus he’s screaming it
Really? It’s beyond you? The person that created the character and created the voice is able to do the voice he created. That’s beyond you? Are you on the spectrum or something?
@@cbrreezzyy69 hhaaahahahahahaha

I always thought the mid 4th and 5th season intro was just like an electronic remix, never thought claypool actually used a weird instrument for that intro
Its actually a song from another of claypool's bands (fearlesss frying frog brigade) just with the added lyrics.
@@vivimos_en_una_sociedad7758 ikr, and it's simply called whamola
no youre right , season mid 4 was the breakbeat and more electronic version , it was mid season 10 that got the whamola mix version
@@Meurth i never said they didnt go to fourth grade in season 4 , im saying season 10 is the second intro in the video , i just got to season 10 and it uses that intro . the one before was the banjo intro
The whamola is a weird instrument indeed

And Matt and Trey like 60?? Impressive they still can do the voices
Early 50s
Usually it's pitch shifting so it's not that hard

This feels like something 90s south park would mock
They're just having fun, nothing wrong with that
Although you're probably right
how?
Dude Matt and Trey are so off tempo it's a little cringe. I can't blame them though, can't tell if they don't give a shit or they don't understand how music works, either way I hope they enjoyed it. They slow the entire bands tempo down, not to mention they sing wayyy off key in a way that isnt an exciting twist, just sounds bad. My guess is that they're super stoned, just sucks cause the way the band played it was an awesome twist, really love that instrument they play for the fourth grade.
I think what pisses me off the most is it sounds like they revised some badass new guitar riffs and spins in the original, but they couldn't play it fast enough to be an exciting cover cause Matt and Trey can't sing fast enough. They probably practiced with the band like twice while the band practiced for weeks and then they showed up the the concert stoned, I can almost assure you that look at house bright red they look. Not saying I would do any different but still...you're with primus...
@@totallynotsummermorrison33 If anyone's high it's Les, and he's a better man for it, Primus would have never existed if they didn't have access to copious amounts of pot. This particular "performance" is indeed utter crap though, more to do with a general lack of interest shown by Primus and the two jews, they've made their money already so why would they care.
@@totallynotsummermorrison33 You're a little cringe for typing all of that. Matt and Trey put most of their energy into the silly voices. You're fixating on the wrong stuff. You don't know how music works.
It’s impressive that after many years they still can do the boys voices accurate
I watch for years
if they put tune into that but without tune stan and kyle does not sound like tuned version of stan and kyle
You can tell Trey puts all his strength into bringing Cartman's voice out. They've been digitally pitching their voices up for years now so to see him do it without that is impressive
@@ThinkingProblemyou moved to a different mic that was pitched up so he did have a little bit of help

South Park has truly become legendary. I grew up on the show when it was in its infancy. Crazy to think there are generational fans of the show.

LONG LIVE SOUTH PARK! 👑
1:02 gives me serious chills

100% pure talent
Matt and trey do essentially all the writing and voice acting in the show except for guest appearances
Matt does kenny and kyle and trey does cartman and stan
The fact that les can still play whamola note perfect while singing is nothing short of great
He's one the best string instrument players in the world, often considered best bass player ever etc. He also routinely does huge jams sessions live, acing something like this is nothing to him.
We love Les Claypool.

I love how Kenny's old voice lines in the intro was " *I love girls with big fat titties I like girls with fat vaginas* "
Now I think it's
" *Timmy Timmy Timmy Timmy Timmy Timmy liba lie Timmy* " because of the way the muffled words sound
