I love how upbeat you are this episode, even in the face of leaving UNC and abysmal weather! The life of a resident is wildly fatiguing, so it’s super refreshing to see you so excited to pursue this next chapter of your life!
Congrats Dr. Cellini! I’m privileged to have watched you grow throughout your journey. You have inspired me go back to college to work on my pre-med to attempt to get into medical school. You will make a great Doctor!
I'm going to NCT x-ray tech school right now and was looking for some videos to help me learn, but than find your videos! Such a smart, hard working GOOD guy! Impressed here.
I’ve been a doc for 27 years now, precepted at a residency program, taught many residents & Med stds, have been the medical director of a number of clinics........and I still feel like I still don’t know anything!
Awww, so amazing, I can't wait to feel the same way. I am so scared of residency. Would love to have this kind of feeling at the end of it. This video is motivating me for residency. Congratulations.
I actually met him on my biopsy day which he has only 3 days left before moving to NY, I tried to talk more but I got starstruck. But good luck on your new chapter in New York. Dr. Cellini. It was a pleasure to meet you. 😁👍🏻🤘🏻😊
Sooo inspirational! I seek to one day become a doctor, complete residency, and complete a fellowship, then be a REAL doctor (lol). I have always dreamt to do it one day! I will be starting college soon and I cannot stop dreaming of how amazing this would be, especially as a the child of two parents who hadn't gone to college. I hope to set the bar for my family and be an inspiration like Dr. Cellini! 👍🏻 Also, congratulations on your completion of residency! You've worked hard! 🎉
Congratulations Dr! I have only recently begun watching your youtube videos and I must say I am very addicted to them! it's hard finding doctors who vlog their life in the hospital and actually liking the content they bring. I am 17 years old and I am from Barbados and I am finishing up my Associate's degree in languages next year in May. I plan to study medicine and become a doctor who specializes in Family Medicine, I know that I have long years ahead of me but watching your videos and a few others really helped to motivate and inspire me a lot. I really do appreciate what you do and I wish you lots and lots of success in your future years to come!
Congratulations Dr. Cellini! I think physicians do not get thanked enough for the amount of work, dedication and CARING that you do. So thank you! How wonderful it must be to help people every single day. Take care up there in NYC. Your rooftop view looks amazing!
You’ve easily become the most inspiring person for me personally. You are such an incredible human being. I’m so incredibly proud of you. Thank you for your content. You are awesome!!!
So proud of you, well done! I'm presently a Sonography student and we are starting clinical next semester, so I'm sure I'll get a taste of your insane schedule!
I love your videos and have enjoyed following your journey. I am an OR nurse and it’s fascinating to see the physicians side of everything! Congrats on finishing your residency and the move to NYC! 🥳
Congrats Dr. Cellini!! You're one of the med youtubers that I follow and you inspire me. It feels like you're a mentor. I've been thinking of taking Radiology for residency during my intern year (kinda late, I know haha) because it's like a different world in Radio. Anyway, sorry for rambling, congrats again! Keep safe out there. 😊 P.s. would you still be uploading videos in the future? (I'll miss the Radiology videos badly).
That is so kind of you dropping the price on your JEEP! You are just a kind soul.. I am a physician myself, a urologist and a transplant surgeon. In my case, it took me more than 20 years: 4. years in the university, 4 years in college of medicine, 1-year postgraduate internship, 1 year spent for medical boards, 6 years of residency ( 2 in surgery and 4 in urology), 1 year for urology boards, followed by one-year endourology fellowship, two-year kidney transplant surgery fellowship and another year for transplant surgery boards. But enjoyed every bit of it...
That’s awesome congratulations! After getting my BA in Geography and not being able to find a job, I decided to go back to school to get a degree in Radiology! I love Radiology, it is so much fun and I’m always learning new things!
Congratulations Dr. Well deserved I have seen. I am a pharmacy dispenser so i find your videos fascinating. All drs should be commended with the pandemic. Love my front line workers
Congratulations, Sir! Thank you for taking the time to post and showing us the way. I leave you with one from Rodney Dangerfield. "I was so poor. I never had an X-Ray. The Doctor would just hold me up to the light." Good Luck in your Fellowship!
I had an IR MD catch an IVC filter gone rouge and was able to remove it safely after 5 hr surgery. If it was not for his skill in catching only the tip of the filter and told them to scan lower to fully see it, it may have fractured into my lungs. I have all the respect for your speciality.
Congratulations doc! I appreciate all your vlogs especially when you mention special cases. Hope you continue to your vlogs like Day in the life of Radiologists now. 😊
Congrats! I remember feeling exactly as you described finishing residency. It’s a very bittersweet and surreal feeling. Good luck on your new chapter in New York!
Wow, you are amazing! I’m a high school student and I would love to do radiology because I love being investigative and learning about the beauty of the anatomy is awesome! But, the amount of years it takes to become the job scares me because it’s a lot!
I was a medical secretary/assistant for 10 yrs in Radiology. What a fascinating time. I assisted with almost everything except invasive procedures. I helped with preps, patient ed. assisted with gathering pt hx and so many other things. It was a great time, but oh, so busy. Hats off to you. Congrats.
Congrats Dr. Cellini!!! You'll be a proud radiologist!! Thanks for all you do for the community!!!! You really inspire me to become a radiation therapist one day!!!!
Awesome! I have been following your UA-cam channel and Instagram for the past year and you have been a great inspiration! I am a radiology technologist student right now (in the Army) and highly considering going for my doctorate! Thank you for the great content!
I wanted to be a Doctor for the longest time. I had a great HS GPA and had almost a perfect SAT and got accepted into many colleges but I just couldn’t fathom 8 years of college and 5 years of residency to become a surgeon! So I decided to join the Marines and doing college in the service and getting out and finishing masters in Surgeon first assistant. I think this is really a better path for me.
Congratulations Dr.! I am hoping to go into the medical field when I am older, and hope I can become half as good as you! You’re an inspiration to so many, and I’m wishing you an amazing time in New York!!!!

I have been in college the past 2 years and it is no joke. Total respect for those who keep climbing the mountain 🌹🤓
That is nice that you had “unbelievable mentors” and I hope you remember your days of learning and do the same for another new resident and help them.

Yeah school is a waste. The most you learn is in clinicals, practice and exp
The more knowledge and experience you acquire the more you realize how much you don't know. This is called wisdom.
