On the World are so many beautiful and Great Lakes. We should protect them.

These are some giant lakes.

We bet it must have been a beautiful place to grow up!
Here are the largest cities on the shores of that system according to country. However, bold markings marked the largest of all of that portion:
•Lake Superior: Duluth, MN on the US side and *Thunder Bay, ON* on the Canadian side
-St. Mary's River: Sault Ste. Marie, MI on the US side and *Sault Ste. Marie, ON* on the Canadian side
•Lake Huron: Bay City, MI on the US side and *Sarnia, ON* on the Canadian side
-Straits of Mackinac (entirely within MI, USA): *Mackinaw City, MI*
•Lake Michigan (entirely within the USA): *Chicago, IL*
-St. Clair River: Port Huron, MI on the US side and *Sarnia, ON* on the Canadian side
-Lake St. Clair: *St. Clair Shores, MI* on the US side and Tecumseh, ON on the Canadian side
-Detroit River: *Detroit, MI* on the US side and Windsor, ON on the Canadian side
•Lake Erie: *Cleveland, OH* on the US side and Kingsville, ON on the Canadian side
-Niagara River: *Buffalo, NY* on the US side and Niagara Falls, ON on the Canadian side
•Lake Ontario: Rochester, NY on the US side and *Toronto, ON* on the Canadian side
Here are the Top 10 largest cities on the shores of the Great Lakes region by population:
1. Toronto, ON, Canada
2. Chicago, IL, USA
3. Mississauga, ON, Canada
4. Detroit, MI, USA
5. Milwaukee, WI, USA
6. Hamilton, ON, Canada
7. Cleveland, ON, USA
8. Toledo, OH, USA
9. Buffalo, NY, USA

I live between the Georgian Bay section of Heron and lake Ontario. They were talking about algae blooms in the bottom great lake , Lake Erie . I also live 1 km away from the Grand River and about 8 km from its headwaters. It's called a working river meaning every town along it uses it for their sewage treatment effluent waste water . And all the farms along in also tile drain into the river meaning all the fields fertilizer and animal waste makes it's way into the Grand River. Up at my end we can eat more of the Grands fish vs the the people at the lower Grand. But my dad taught us not to eat fish from the river because of how dirty the river is .

The word Lakes are a understatement more like seas

Hydrologically, Michigan and Huron are one lake because of the Mackinac straits.

I love you ESA. Canada wants to dump 28 football stadiums full of highly radioactive nuclear waste near Lake Huron or at the head of Lake Superior. It would put the lakes and 80 million lives at risk. Perfet video showing the beauty of the Great Lakes.
