This type of kick ass rock is the pure form of true liberation. You don't think anything at all. You just feel it tight in your bones and blood. Some people feel this is just loud noises. To me is palpable magic.

They were a great band. Kicking ass👍👍👍
Bogart & Appice - one of the best rhythm sections of all time
Beck,RIP,knows!
Carmine deserves a lot more respect for what he has done for drumming…has more talent in his middle finger than his critics.

Carmine Appice, GREAT drummer, this from a bassist who idolized Tim.

I was at that show ! Fantastic ! my brother still has the program
Kenny Smith I was born about 40-50 years too late. These are the experiences I yearn for.

That Les Paul sounds almost like a tele! Awesome tone love the brightness
imagine where this coulda gone if jimmy hadn't blown a tube.....

@@mariasalinas8266 as I heard it the guitar/drum thing wasn't over but Jim's amp blew a tube, cutting it short…….
Yeah, I hear a microphonic tube already in the beginning.
a Fuzz pedal with a octave devider..like the Foxx wa fuzz pedal,I know,I used to have one...sold it like an idiot..
Rusty Day was one helluva vocalist / frontman. He could work an audience into a frenzy. The other 3 were virtuosos on their respective instruments.

Listened to various covers of this tune, but no one comes close the intensity of the Cactus version and no one can wail it Rusty Day did.
Never noticed it before, but part of the lyrics are "you better watch your happy home".
That's also in The Lemon Song.
It's derived from Howlin Wolf you should definitely check him out! All the early classic rock acts stole from him. In a good way ; )
@@brucifer0 I have. I was just noticing the similarity.

5:21 One of the moe uncommon examples of them getting a little more psychedelic than normal. fuck yeah.
