2002-2007 Saturn Vue Door Lock Actuator Switch Troubleshooting

My own Vue had an issue where the driver's side lock switch internals were broken, causing the door to unlock themselves randomly. This will help with diagnosing and solving the issue.

Almost having the exact same issue in my parents 03 VUE. Except occasionally it will lock itself over and over and over again. The car alarm goes off randomly. Is that related do you think?

I had this same problem with the switch, although the relay was not being activated as in your case. It just stopped working. The passenger side switch and the rear door switches still worked. I ended up swapping the passenger door switch to the driver's side since I used the vehicle 99% of the time.. I thought I would swap in one of the rear door switches but behind the exposed front (which appears the same) they were different and could not be swapped.

First off thank you!! Almost replaced bcm. Next up who has this switch? I can't find dura sw5148 but sites sell seemingly identical ones as pd191, 5152 only AutoZone has one and wants a hundo

@jon I bought an outlook. The lock switches on either side don't work but the doors lock when the car starts. The key fob doesn't lock or unlock the vehicle, the power mirror switch doesn't work and the switches for the back windows click but don't work. Any suggestions?
