!My theory is. They all got their super powers before signal hit. Some of them even in cheer up! Alright, let's start in the pattern from 1st who got their powers to last to get their powers! It'll take a span from cheer up to signal!
1st to get her power was our one and only, fake maknae.
Nayeon. If you noticed in cheer up, as soon as the lens goes over her, her new phone becomes an old timey one, the popcorn jihyo was eating is untouched on the counter, and the overall time just seems older. I think she can reverse time more than just the few seconds she showed in signal, my theory is that in signal she wanted to use her power a lot so she limited herself to rewinding a few seconds. So she was able to reverse time in cheer up already!
Second one who got their power is girl crush
Jeongyeon. To me at first, it seems like she stopped time, HOWEVER! She only stopped it for a little bit! Meaning, she might have just extremely slowed it down. That's right, I think jeongyeon was in charge of slow motion of all their video since cheer up era. How did I know she got her powers later than nayeon? Well, she seemed to be showing them off a lot more than nayeon, I think she was having fun and showing of her new abilities.
Moving on to 3rd girl...
Mina! I think she got her power, mental manipulation at around cheer up era, but last girl of the cheer up era, since she wasn't seen using her powers, I just think she used it off camera. She manipulated the camera head guy, as she was seen reading a note from him, I think she was to one able to reach out to him most, though at signal her powers started getting a little rusty so I don't think she used them that often.
I think only one of the girls got her power in TT
Dahyun! If you noticed, she was in a room with a bunch of bunnies! I think she was practicing, but failed a bit and instead of cloning herself accidentally cloned her costume which was a bunny! Her powers in signal were pretty good! Also, I think she does not only clone herself, as in heart shaker everyone is cloned.
5th girl to get her power (in Knock Knock) issss...
Momo! As you see her in the beginning singing her playboy/bad boy part, everyone around her is sped up! I think she can not only run super fast, she can speed up either

2 Time entirely
I think so because around signal she mastered speeding only herself up, but before, in Knock Knock, she sped everything up, in my opinion Momo was trying to cheat and speed herself up to catch them moving cause that's what the game they were playing was about, but messed it up and sped them up too. In likey she also speeds time up in her bb cream parts
Alright. In 6th place I actually have three girls, since they all seem pretty confident with their powers and show them off equally, this is somewhere between knock knock and signal. Those girls are
Sana, Jihyo and Chaeyoung.
There isn't a story behind them since they only show their powers in signal.
And the last to get her powers is our maknae,
Tzuyu! It's only normal the youngest gets her powers last, but there's an explanation to this. So, none of the members actually failed while their powers were showing, except for Mina and Tzuyu, but like I said previously, Mina's powers were just rusty. Tzuyu, however, had her super strength and totally fails, making it horrible for herself as she pushes the alien. So i think she's the least experienced, meaning she got her power last.
Bonus : The camera guy and alien are the same person!
Before, he seems so interested in twice he would take picture of them, (like you said, all about the point of view) and they were annoyed with him, so he lost interest. At least, so they thought. They realized how great he was and tried to let him know! but they were so caught up they didn't realise he liked them too, hence why they turned into aliens in the end
