Hi Arpita, I noted that the finely chopped garlic was almost burnt by the time the potatoes were fried. I wondered if the potatoes could be fried first and taken out of the pan and added later into the curry, just as you did with the tangra fish ?

I did that purposely. Burnt garlic adds an extra flavour to the jhol.
