Thanks for the informative video! How loud is the autofocus? I need something that is practically silent
Thanks for the information boss😊
Hello, congratulations on your informative video.I'm a Canon r10 user and I'm thinking about this lens for the photo and I'm curious about your opinion.thanks
Hey man. Im a baller on a budget but im shooting youtube videos. Sometimes on the run, but also some talking heads. Should i go for the 15-35mm L, or a prime 35mm lens at 1.8 aperature. I'm trying not spend 2k on a lens, because i just got the canon r6 mk2. but if you think i should, then i will!
Hey man! Unfortunately a prime lens is not enough for UA-cam stuff or other projects. If you want to include vlogging, a 15-35 is ideal. If you don't need that super wide angle, I would definitely go with a 24-70 f2.8. It's more versatile. This is what I use for almost a year now, and I barely take it off my camera. However, this doesn't mean a 35mm f1.8 isn't good. It's very good, but you are very limited in terms of focal length.
Just used it one time with my dji rs2 gimbal and it was no problem at all. Also while recording drive scenes.
Good content. Do you feel the camera itself is little warm when rf 15mm-35mm lens is hooked to the camera and camera is turned on for a while?
Nope, I don't think the lens has something to do with the internal heat of the camera.
Thinking about getting this or the 28-70 f2 for my trip to Poland. Which would you pick?
I would buy that lens only if I was a professional portrait photographer (which, maybe you are). It's much heavier, it doesn't have image stabilization and the filter size is 95mm (you'll pay even more for filters). The difference between f2 and f2.8 is small and it's worth it only if you use it for professional work. I would definitely stick to the 24-70 f2.8. It has IS, 82mm filter thread, so I can use it with no problems for both photo and video.
Great lens. I sold mine because it is too big, too heavy and too wide for everyday use. Also, £2000 was too much money to be left in my bag all the time.
Get the cheaper and smaller, lighter 14-35 f4
Would you recommend the 24-70 or 15-35 for documentary/vlog content
I know some folks out there would recommend the wider one (15-35mm), but if you mentioned documentaries, I would go with the 24-70. 24mm is wide enough and you can get tighter shots at 70mm too.
@@VideoMakerTwist thanks last question 🙋🏿♂️ 😆 would you choose the Sony fx3 or the canon r6 mark ii
No problem man, ask anything and I'll reply when I can. To be honest, I'm more familiar with the Canon system. If you plan to produce movies only, you could choose the FX3, but keep in mind it doesn't have a viewfinder, only an LCD screen. R6 mark II is good for photos too. Cheers! by the way, nice rapping in your "Cardano Explodes ADA" video, just watched it now.
@@VideoMakerTwist thanks for some reason I like canon colors & usability.
@@MODESTYXO205bro how are you on every single camera video on the internet asking random A or B things are you taking a tally or social experiment? You should compile all your comment answers into a video yourself to have a “what’s best” 😂
If you were shooting music videos or mostly video and taking some pictures here and there what lens would you get if you could only choose one with a no limit budget using an R5c?
I would go with the Canon 24-70 f2.8. You have a video here about it: ua-cam.com/video/uOaRjn2PoWw/v-deo.html
@@VideoMakerTwist thanks 💪🏾
With no budget limit you should get 28-70 f2 bro
Rf 28-70 f2.0 hands down… the image out of that lens is incredible
Would you consider the 14-35 f/4 lens?
Not really. An f4 lens needs a lot of light if you use it for video. It's good for photography though.
When you get your first L lens like this coming from Sony it’s fucked how loud the focus motor is on these things like holy shit how is it even real you can’t use a shotgun mic without constantly hearing it and the size is outrageous
