I just used eco earth mixed with sphagnum moss. I sprayed the substrate with a spray bottle but not too much. Then I put a hydrometer and thermostat inside the container until my temperature stayed between 75-83 degrees F and humidity between 60-70 percent. Then I placed the eggs. Then I replaced my leopard geckos moist hide with the container.
Yoo!! Congrats bro…first try that’s crazy I’ve got my first clutch incubating in sum hatchrite that I’ve candled and can see that they are fertile and I’ve got a pregnant female BIG GOALS FOR 2023!!!
hi so I am going to try to breed my leopard geckos and don't want to by an incubator. What temp do you have to keep your house at and when will the female start ovulating?

Dude that’s your first try?? Maybe I’m not doing something right or something because non of my leopard geckos eggs have made it so far, and I’m on my last pair of eggs for my leopard gecko and I’m just praying at this point.
@@coldbloodedwise well damn bro. Congrats. The last pair didn’t make it. I think it was because I didn’t put enough calcium in her diet. I gave her calcium but I didn’t want to give her too much because I didn’t want to accidentally overdose her. Especially since I didn’t have pure calcium at that point. Had calcium + d3. Now i just have pure calcium. For her next clutch I’ll be adding a lot more calcium and hoping for the damn best🥲👍
focus on heat and humidity. Keep the temperature between 78 - 88 degrees. Make sure the substrate you use is damp but not too moist. And monitor the eggs

Thank you, I have to make some new ones
They can hatch at 80°F. As long as no major fluctuating.
The hatchling stepping all over its loungemates
my leopard gecko just laid eggs today and I'm not sure what to do and i cant find an incubator at petco 😢
They won’t be fertile unless it was bred

So cute lol
What do I do to have a successful clutch

Get an incubator
And do research
