You're right. There are few photos or appearances of Lee in 1965. He went to HK for his father's funeral in February. Then later when Brandon was old enough to bring on a flight, Bruce, Linda, and Brandon went to HK to stay with Bruce's family from May to Sept. Then from Sept to December, they stayed with Linda's parents in Seattle. Then they moved back with James Lee in Oakland while waiting for William Dozier to start production on Green Hornet. Bruce and Linda moved into the Barrington Plaza in LA in April 1966.
@@squatch545 that’s correct my good sir! When Bruce and Linda moved out of James Lee’s house in March, 1966 they moved to the Barrington Plaza soon after and had to change apartments by moving to a larger apartment so Bruce could have more room for his study and his large book case the housed over 2,500 books related to martial arts, photography, philosophy, how to make motion pictures and more. During this period is when photographer Chester Meydole took the photos to promote the Green Hornet series that would shortly be filmed. Bruce playing with Brandon while performing Gung Fu techniques and jumping kicks as well as the nunchaku and the three sectional staff.
@@jkdart1980 When I was reading your comment for some reason I was reminded of the scene in ETD with Parsons on the boat, and I imagined Bruce saying to Linda, "Don't you think we need more room?" Lol....
Great episode and information. A lot of people think Bruce taught Wing Chun in Seattle. But he never did. It was always Jun Fan because he had to adapt it simply because everyone was bigger and heavier than him. 🙏🐉
Thank you
Thanks 🙏
