Hi everyone! I'm an American from the Northeast (New England). I want to create a watering hole for people who want to discuss, learn and teach about history through UA-cam videos which you guys recommend to me through the comment section or over on Discord. Let's be respectful but, just as importantly, not be afraid to question any and everything about historical records in order to give us the most accurate representation of the history of our species and of our planet!
Having a diverse perspective is crucial to what I want to achieve here so please don't hold back! I want to learn about all I can! Keep recommending and PLEAESE join my Discord :) ( / discord )

I think some people like secret societies because members give each other a helping hand sometimes.
Ooh! Missus... 😂
Catholicism and Protestantism are two different parts of Christianity - split in 16th C. There are several versions of Protestantism but only one Catholic Church.
Eggs at Easter was basically pagan fertility ritual and celebration.
Like 70% of Christianity is ripped straight from pagan beliefs
I would call Protestantism a sect rather than a cult, but that's mainly because of the way it split from Catholicism (pretty blatantly) and how not very secretive it was. That is the same thing I would say about Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity or Shia and Sunni Islam. Two sects of one original religion.
The reason the word 'cult' sounds odd is because you ONLY need to change the letter L for an N to fully realise the type of person who ends up in a cult.... Just saying! 😂😂😂
Connor, you need to learn about the ancient city of London if you want to understand Freemasonry and how it still has huge influence today, especially through banking
"New to you" button - thanks for the tip ConnorI have watched UA-cam from before there was any kind of algorithm "predicting" what I'd find interesting, and that was when it was at its best as far as I'm concerned.
- Not Googling "Illuminati" you say? Well, that just sounds like someone doesn't want me to find out the truth...
[five minutes later]
- Oh, no! I shouldn't have done that!
We eat eggs at easter because that's when the hens starts laying them after the winter.
EGGs-actly... 😂😂😂
Compass and set square tools used by stone masons..
You’ve yet to continue the John Brown Extra history series.
Good job Connor
The bull represents an antic elit most of people don't know about it. They are represented by the red color and other symbols.
Mithraism sounds like Freemasonry, in that people of the same calling but of different standing could meet each other socially and this would possibly progress one's career. See the Brtitsh Police Force.
The egg itself became a symbol of the Resurrection. Just as Jesus rose from the tomb, the egg symbolized new life emerging from the eggshell.
More to do with paganism.... Was originally to do with fertility, re-birth and the new year Spring, but like SO many other things the 'theme' was 'borrowed' by Christianity.... Like Christmas, Jesus (if you believe in him and the bible story), wasn't born at that time, but it was 'convenient' to mix dates, so by the mid 4th century, his birthday celebration was MOVED to 25th December. Please check facts before spouting myths. Just saying. 😂
Christianlsm, islam, protestanism, etc were all cults of other religions when they began but they have outgrown their origins so much that it is no longer very correct to call them as a cult. That is, if one use the given definition in this video. Another definition of cult can be one of a group of people that share some worship. Note that by group, we do not put any size limit on it. So this last definition can apply not only to those close communities that many people associate with the word cult, but it also applies to religions and many others things where shared beliefs (even non reliilgious ones) have a minimum of organization.
One day you might realise that watching children's cartoons is a waste of your short time in this wonderful world. Grow up.
I know the secret handshake ;-)) Follow this to the end ... if you dare!
