The way you end this video is the most important part of it all to me. Mafia/crime history is one thing, mafia/crime glorification is another. People forget that’s what the street life is all about. Money…any and all means possible. These are not good people. You as always do a great job of reminding the viewer that these people are to not be glorified. Respect, and salute to you as always Jeff. Keep up the great content
James Galdofini use to say the same thing when he was on the tv show The Actor’s Studio hosted by James Lipton, he said straight out, “these people are not very good people so let’s not forget that”. Very well said Salvatore617
I followed this in the papers... and subsequently read a number follow ups to this crime... In 40 minutes I learned twice as much... Fantastic job Jeff...
Great ending comments Jeff. Especially on Agent Hatcher and the poignant way you honor his memory and also point out that all the Mob guys are the worst of the worst scumbags but their stories do fascinate us....
MOB JUSTICE was a great film based on the Farace manhunt. The film starred some good actors such as Frank Vincent, Nick Turturro, Samuel Jackson, and Tony Danza. I have it on dvd and make it a point to watch it once a year. Highly recommend
Excellent closing Jeff. So true and you are so right. We lose sight of the truth of who some of these gangsters are. You summed it up perfectly. Bravo.
Good show again Jeff. Always commend your knowledge of the neighborhoods of New York City. For those curious about Bushwick I'd say apart from a few old timers there are very few Italians there today. Go over to nearby Queens and the presence of Italians increases in Middle Village, Glendale and possibly still Ridgewood
I was blocks away that night. Watched cops flying down Page Ave, Bloomingdale Rd, and Arthur Kill Rd like crazy. West Shore Expressway was blocked at Bloomingdale. Gus was a little older than me, but everyone knew him- and to stay away from him. His brother wasn’t too bad. Anyway, what doesn’t get mentioned much is the night this went down, Gus wasn’t the only person the cops were looking for. A guy named Hughie Kelly was with him. His name was only briefly mentioned on the news and in the papers. The manhunt for Gus was crazy. He was in and out of SI in plain sight a few times. Crazy times.
You didn't hear about Hughie Kelly, because he wasn't the one that was with him. You can look online it was Dominick Farace that was the one who was with him.
The podcaster knows almost zero about this case. I was away with Gus inside Eastern and we were closest friends our families were friends. We called each other down on visits. Nothing this podcaster says is true. No one was ever after Johnny Fat Face. He was older and respected and loved by us guys. No one Ever fucked with him. He used to smoke huge hand rolled cigars and wed walk the yard talking 100 miles an hour. Great great guy. Gus would give you the shirt off his back. Feds came to my families house my dad told them to go fuck themselves. Gus was my brother and I'll always think of him as I knew him. Huge heart. A giver not a taker. I could go on but I said too much already v@@JulieMele-d8h
Brother your site is real your interviews are real you speak the truth someone these podcast are not honest say what ever click baiting the topic your talking about is real also there's a movie on this Samuel Jackson is in it ..I lived on Troutman between evergreen & knickerbocker avenue in 98 to 2002 lots of crazy sh*t but not like these days your topic is on your site rocks bro
Idea ?? Do a show on the heroes you mentioned. All sorts of em . And create a club for the idiots called the the ( Foul Ball ) club . That’s a name I use for idiot goofballs . Also love your show and watch all the time . Your Straight up speech is refreshing and on point . Thanks for reading this if you did I know your busy .!! Joe in the western side of Pennsylvania
How is this Pertucelli related to the tanglewood boys Pertucelli? The younger dude who stabbed the kid outside a bar. And i thought Louie Tuzzio was killed caused he leaned on Anthony Spero to get made?
😂 Get your info correct, his parents weren't from Italy. His Father wasn't Mafia. Bay Boys were Princes Bay, thats were their name came from. Never heard of him killing dogs, I grew up in Prince's Bay, and grew up with Gus. He was a good person to us, and loved his family very much! Just got involed with the Mafia that was related.
The saddest part of this whole story is that with all the goodness, kindness and all American things this DEA agent did he still died as a black man selling dope on the streets even though he was an undercover dealer agent. He came all that way just to die what he lived his whole life trying too escape. Super sad.
No homeboy I’ve been listening to you from the beginning when you first sign of your podcast and I must say I do smell or detect the wife of arrogance, sometimes in the shit that you say and see what you will not every single mafia member is depraved and all that extra shit that you just said I think a podcast for the most part but sometimes I just feel like you just put a little bit too much on that shit
He probably wiped his bloodline out, we know the bigman Raimondi dosent mess about ( types me with a straight face ) he gets the job done. Ah mean, The Pope...who else would have been tasked with a piece of work like that...😂😂😂
If this agent is undercover. Y is he not fair game? He is in the street game. Playing hardball but his rules are not the same? Like Pistone. He should be fair game
SHOW I REFERENCE ABOUT BONNANO MOBSTER JERRY CHILLI--- ua-cam.com/video/VDIpJGRVanI/v-deo.html
One of Sammy’s story he talks about him. He was dressing down Joe Watts, and got a warning from his own family
Yes grew up with guys like this ate at their tables so I know how greedy, dangerous yet human these guys are.
Associating with bad element was his downfall; he could've been something better 😔

I watched it that night... But the best, but it was pretty damned good
Good job. Fully to the point.

Kick ass job Jeff. Appreciate you sir 👊
Jeff, great detail once again.
R.I.P Agent Hatcher
Dude was a real scumbag, a murderous hateful killer… it all caught up with him in the end..
Yup
@@thesitdownwithjeffnadu Another stone cold banger Jeff!
If Gus had a got made, he would’ve turned out like Charles Carniglia-Roy DeMeo- Tommy karate. Another weird psycho
Great as always!
Thank you! Cheers!
It's nice you stood up for Ruggiano. He's a good guy and I'm very fond of him.
Absolutely FANTASTIC true crime channel!!! Keep it up Jeff!!!!!
Thank you
He was big because he took steroids like it was candy
Great job on your podcast became a subscriber im hook. 👍 From the bronx and now Connecticut ...
Brilliant video!
Glad you liked it!
Kick ass jeff, i was just wondering if you were gonna do an episode on Gus farace.
Great show Jeff.
Always enjoy the content Jeff. Enjoy your Halloween.
Thanks you too
Awesome video Jeff
Gus was alright i met him on a visit at Arthur Kill in Staten Island.
This was a disaster for so many. Just a messed up situation. Caused alot of unfortunate things to happen. He never thought he was an Agent.
Do yah think race had anything to do with the murder maybe thought there was no black d.e.a agents.
YOU HAVE A VERY INTERESTING SHOW, JEFF I AM A SUBCRIBER…..YEAH!!!!!
Thanks for being here
Farace was pretty juiced up and I think the steroids just further enhanced his already unstable character. Then throw in the recreational drugs.
Good show again Jeff. Always commend your knowledge of the neighborhoods of New York City. For those curious about Bushwick I'd say apart from a few old timers there are very few Italians there today. Ridgewood is big time Italian
This should be good, we know Jeff always comes with the str8 factz!!!
Gianni Russo made farace and trained the agent then hit farace . Can you believe it
great show jeff .
Thank you
Sitdown w. Jeff Nadu is on my rotation never misses.
Jeff a Baldo Amato episode would be fire, lotsa of info to share about him
Wonder what Chilli’s daughter ever got sentenced to, if anything, for harboring him
Poor Babe got screwed with this situation and with 3 daughters was sentenced to 5 years and sent all the way to California
Why no video on the Merlinos Salvatore and Lawrence
I had heard that the Steven Seagal movie Out For Justice, is loosely based on the Farace / Hatcher situation
Has anybody seen Richie!!!
What was the name of the movie w/ Tony Danza ?
Happpyyy Halloween 🎃
“Dead and alive, the race for Gus farace”, also called “mob justice”, filmed roughly 1991.

When are you going to do a video about Lewis kasman
Sounds like it must’ve been pretty cold in the Chilli house!

Its sad how they always gets killed by each other in the end😢
Can you imagine Frank Costello or Tommy Lucchese giving these mooks the time of day? Really shows how far Cosa Nostra fell in a generation.

He should be addressed as former DEA agent.
Maybe I'm wrong, but why would that fed be buying and selling drugs. Maybe he was playing both sides if the fence
