I was listening to the first album on my sony walkman whilst fishing after dark in Devon, UK, 1994/5. 'Stoned is the way of the walk' was playing and I hooked into what felt like a massive fish. I managed to eventually tire it out and land it, a 12.5lb mirror carp. Biggest fish I'd caught at the time and it was at night, on my own with delicate 3.6lb breaking strain line. The thing is that fish was actually foul hooked in the tail and it fought more like a 20lb fish. My landing net got caught up in brambles too so it was a miracle I managed to actually bring that fish in. One of my most memorable experiences

Vlad! Breal! I have a question !!! I remember reading in an article in a hiphop magazine (the exact name of which I forget) in late 95 after throw your set was released but before 3 was released and the article spoke about Cypress Hills upcoming historic double album. For whatever reason that never happened but It would of been the first double album in hiphop history. The group probably couldn't make the deadline and just released what was ready. The concept was reused on their double album skull and bones because throw your set, and throw your hands were supposed to be the two singles on each of the double albums just like rock and rap superstar. I think a portion of the tracks was put on the unreleased and revamped album. The video single "throw your hands in the air" was listed on MTV as being a single off of 3 temples of Boom and I know at least two people who bought the album thinking that single was on it and being pissed that it wasn't. Throw your hands also had its own separate single release on cassette and CD a few weeks after temples of Boom was released. It was being advertised as a single from the album everywhere including on the single cassette itself. I know this because my best friend had it. It was an all white cassette tape with a similar skull on it like the one on the temples of Boom cd and it had "make a move" on the b side. Does any other hardcore fans remember this? I can't find anyone else who does. I wish the group themselves could talk about this. This was at least a year before unreleased and revamped came out.
Just to Clarify, I am from NY. At that time, Cyprus Hills was thought to be from NY, because there is a town in Brooklyn called Cyprus Hills. The video was filmed in NY. It was shocking for New Yorkers, when we found out they were from California. WOW.
