Hey this is great! I’m researching to build my own website and I’m struggling with organizing all the content that I found on the web. Any suggestions ?
As a designer I'd say it can be really beneficial to clients for you to have a broad range of knowledge; you can offer a lot more to them than if you were super specialised in just one niche aspect of design. That's what I tell myself anyway 😂
Can you can make a tutorial on how you made this site map? I don't want to draw to make a sitemap, keep things simple using text based sitemap for UI/UX tracking.
Another spot-on video RR! We have so many similarities...just started watching The Queen's Gambit as well...been using notion for a while now...and working on my own redesign as well! Do the case study video for sure. I have a really terrible problem with niching to one industry or kind of client too...
Great minds think alike! Queens Gambit is an awesome show haha... I will probably post about the case studies too when I finish them.. What is the industry that some of your past clients were in? That sometimes helps me when niching
@@UnfinishedStudio I've got a counseling center, an American legion, a bar, a lumber yard, a fintech product, a concrete contractor, a major consumer brand, bass fishing sites...its literally all over the place. I have a boutique lead, a winery lead and just signed on an interior designer client.
@@graphyteco Which one of those would you say were a great mix of enjoyment and earning? Meaning which ones did you enjoy the most and earned sufficiently from?
@@UnfinishedStudio thanks! And yeah...I'm going to try to niche down under a new domain - Graphyte Outdoors - working with outdoor companies. I had this "idea" pre-2020 but seems like an even better idea nowadays...
Good stuff brother! Totally relate with the guitar and piano note, 😂. Hit me up 🤙 if you are headed to Philly. Happy to chat about design, Notion, process, etc. Be well my friend and keep up the great content. ✌️
You’re killing it dude. The more videos the better, please.
Thank you! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for providing so much value to other web designers like us, just found your channel and subbed to it! ❤
I’m so glad the content helped!
LOVED Queen's Gambit. It was such a great show. I'm a jack of all trades too. Looking to try and hone in on something myself as well.
Greetings from Ukraine, be blessed!
Looking good mate! They keep getting better 🔥
Thanks Jeffrey!
Hey Abrot, great content! Waiting for more videos of this series to come :-)

Great point.. there are benefits to both being a specialist or a generalist
Yeah, don't get me wrong specialism is incredible too :) I love seeing people who have found their thing and just totally own it ☺️
Have you considered a profession sitemapping tool like WriteMaps for website planning?
