It's really unique but definitely see why it got hate in the internet gaming community. Wish there was more games like this lol I like stuff that isn't just like every other game in the world.
The only reason you have to go slow in school zones is so when you hit them they don't die immediately. It's called conditioning, hit kids with cars at a slow speed and eventually they can survive any accident

He doesn't say anything and he does it any way but he's wondering if this is all their Pac family is going to be until he has a pacattack or she dies of "mysterious" circumstances. I'm proud of Chris for getting his drivers license. I got mine kinda late too. Don't worry Chris, you get better with practice, all the stuff that makes you anxious at first get's easier the more you do it.
Same here. Honestly, it took me, embarressingly, years to even drive on the freeway at night. I felt more comfortable driving on windy roads, on hills overlooking big ass drops. Just because they would be one lane, and I wouldn't have to worry about other people poorly/recklessly merging into my lane vice versa. Just had to deal with tail gaters and slow trucks. I feel somewhat justified though, because I've seen way more horrible accidents on the freeway (in California). I saw like 1 on those dirt roads.
Idk how old the guy is but its embarassing enough not having it in your 20s when everyone else you know does. Problem is your own two feet will only get you so far before they go numb.

I really hope this is a full series. This was one of the games in my SNES library as a kid that I felt not many people knew then (or now), and I still have such positive nostalgic feelings for it. All the terrible things you can do to Pac Man still makes my 31 year old ass giggle.
I love scanline/CRT effects but I think it looks way off in this video. The line thickness is really inconsistent. Unfortunately it's extremely difficult for the effect to look right in a compressed video, especially if you aren't watching the video in its native resolution.

It's normal for Europeans to delay driving or leaving their childhood home until they're at least in their mid 60s so this is well ahead of schedule.

It's bizarre to see this game get so much attention. I used to play it with my brother back in the day, and it always felt like one of those cult games that only a handful of people knew about, including the devlopers themselves. Now as an adult the game raises many psychological questions.
