Hello! Beautiful nails! I am new to the builder gel thing and am trying to figure out if I should go with the soak off builder gel? But if you put colour on top, when you want to change the colour do you end up removing the builder gel as well with the acetone?

hello! from my knowledge, builder gel in a bottle is soak-off but hard gel can only be filed off. i think you’ll be okay changing the color but if the acetone takes off any of the builder it probably won’t be that much and you can do a fill and add a bit more structure when you do that. or you could always buy the builder in a color you wear regularly. have you looked into polygel since they have a lot of different colors and are a hybrid of gel and acrylic? i’m just getting started too but i hope this helped a bit 😊

1. Can you use the builder gel directly on a prepped natural nail? Or does it need all those coats in between?
2. How long did this particular nail set took?
3. Is the builder gel a wipe off at the end or no?

Hey! You need to use a base coat before going in with builder gel. This one I believe took an hour and half for both nails because I filmed it. My first set of gel nails took me like 6 hours so I've improved since than LOL!! Some topcoats are no wipe and some need it, this one was a no wipe topcoat
