Stripreases are in pg13 movies so they'll probably be fine. If they had porn on their site or nudity would be a different issue. Given content has to be tagged aswell would be easy to make blocks for the tags, or just put a warning on streams with that tag

Twitch went from gaming livestreaming to porn livestreaming

Started as Justin, where many illegal streams ran with occasional channel bans. Twitch can never go there, Justin didn't need card processing.
What seemed odd was Twitch having channels tagged 18+ moderated like the others with bans for streamers and viewers.

These changes didnt bother me at all, even as a part time streamer/YTr with moderate success (Ive made enough 💸 to retire). But while watching this video.. for some reason.. it made me finally download and create an account on kick 🤷 🤝 i honestly dunno why? I guess my 3 steps ahead, investment thinking brain 🧠 told me that even though I dont care, i think alot of advertisers will, and Kick is going to use this as bad press against twitch, this is really big news and are massive changes to the TOS and policy and I can now see the Twitch app getting taken off the pre downloaded apps on andriod and apple, banned by parents who dont want their 13 yr old kids watching Fortnite streamers on a platform they can easily switch over to softcore pr0n on... I jusy know the un-informed, ignorant parents wont look into HOW it works, they will just have their co workers tell them how porns ok now on twitch and BAM, uninstalled and banned. It WILL negatively affect the website, and we will lose followers and viewers for sure. I think now is the time to🎉 at least start up something,, build your brand and audience on Kick now. I hope what I said is easily understandable and makes sense. Invest in YOUR SELF and do it NOW if youre a content creator. Tomorow is too late. 😊

Part of it is expectations, people are shocked when sexual content happens when they don't expect it. When on a porn site its normal and expected.
It's also about boundary pushing. On twitch this would be pushing the boundaries whereas on phub this is as you said, a "dime a dozen". On phub you'd have to get into some pretty extreme stuff for it to be boundary pushing.

"Based" is definitely not the adjective i would use to describe allowing erotic content on twitch, or the attitude of twitch administration in general. Being "based" (in the case of twitch) really needs to demonstrate a realistic understanding of issues and ramifications of policies, as well as the overall effect those policies will have on its audience and viewship base. Overall, i think that twitch was founded on gameplay and should cater to that target demographic (those being of a largely underage group). There are hundreds of places for sexuality to be exploited on the web. Did we really need to turn twitch into a playground for perverse behavior that is at higher than average risk for youth exposure? I think this is a serious degradation of moral sensibility that is far more reflective of a loose and liberal mentality that shoots before considering the damage it can do. Children are nothing more than potential customers to these people. For example, if you're a makeup brand and you wanna sell more makeup to new and untapped demographics then you gotta get them young. Old men aren't gonna suddenly start wearing makeup, but if you can convince kids "men can wear makeup too" then there's dollars to be made.
Same goes for hot-tub streamers. You best be sure someone high up in Twitch has a huge stake on where the hot-tub gateway drug takes the kiddos.
There is porn on twitter and has been for a long time. They have a button that says "You must be 18+ to view this" or something similar, that's all they should be expected to do. They can't stop kids from claiming to be 18 short of requiring ID to browse the internet which is a terrible idea.

Sad thing is, despite obvious signs of Twitch's regression many will still open it for their favorite streamer at the very least. No matter if it rebranded to a LITERAL porn site at this point. That means contracted streamers will remain protected at the very least and have no reason to leave, thus inhibiting the potential for future competitors to Twitch to become possible.
Most of this remains what Twitch already had it's just clarified more or people weren't getting banned for it. The only major change is 18+ art being allowed now.

From what I’ve heard, nudity is only allowed to be shown if it isn’t an actual person and it’s not a representation of a person (aka VTubers and PNGTubers).
So basically, you can show or draw nude art of fictional characters, but they can’t be a person’s live model.
Seems inconsistent because from what I've heard some people actually drawing artistic nudity are being banned still.

I never want to see a Twitch streamer preach to Kick and other platforms about having some moral highground. I understand most of you are singing your praises but genuinely dont think this is a good thing at all. Once sexual content creator's and enthusiasts consume the gamer viewers which is possible we will be at OF levels. I just worry about gaming what it was built off of and non explicit content in general. Im not happy about this move but I will not shame those for it.

Nothings going to change. This is business as usual. Twitch alters the ToS of NFSW content for sexual content creators like once a year. Sometimes tightening the restrictions, sometimes loosening them. This is just going back to what it was about two years ago.
And theres not much overlap between gaming viewers and sexual content viewers. They've mostly kept to their preferred sides of the site all these years.
