- The first extended trailer for the CW's new drama series, Life UneXpected (formely known as Light Years or Parental Discretion Advised). The series premieres 2010. January 18th!
Starring: Brittany Robertson, Shiri Appleby, Kerr Smith, Kristoffer Polaha, Brittney Irvin.
This was the bestest best show ever. I wish they made a season 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... Sigh. Such a waste. Really loved it.
Finally, something that isn't centered around rich, spoiled kids. They are not the only interesting characters on TV.

I didn't learn about the show before today when my son said his brother's music is played during the preview! Only My Heart plays at 2:25 and Something Real at 4:00. Its written and sung by Nathan Brumley--way to go, son!

Wow, this is so good. I'm definitely gonna follow this, along with Glee, Vampire Diaries and Being Erica. Gah! So many good series coming out right now. Hellcats, 18 to Life, Pretty Little Liars... I wish I could just live my life watching all of 'em!

Yes, I can! It's our son, Nathan Brumley. The song is "Something Real" from his album, "Show Me a Sign." He lives in Nashville, and has sites on Facebook, CDBaby, and others. He writes comtemporary Christian music.

Love Shiri Appleby! I don't watch CW shows anymore, but I will watch that show.
I'm really excited for this show. Which is something I haven't said since the WB ended. I still watch the CW but only the former WB shows. It reminds me of old school WB, which rocks and it doesn't hurt that the entire adult cast are WB alums.
I still will never forgive them canceling Roswell.
7 years later and I'm STILL bitter. THANK GOD Shiri is back on my tv. This looks amazing.

I live in Portland I haven't seen them film anywhere around here. It's so weird how quiet everything is. Really greats how and the city is so beautiful. I love living here!

Shiri looks stunning and amazing i hope this show goes somewhere i love Sci-fi and i love adventure but you need some good drama from time to time. cant wait this will be on my must watch list

Episodes 3 and 7 of Riverdale had a plot similar to this series, in which Betty had been living in foster homes since childhood, and during the course of said episodes has to find her real parents.

i love them all and i 'm gonna start watching life Unexpected
this show looks like it's gonna be pretty decent. and for some reason, whenever i see previews of it, Party of Five comes to mind. it's seem like it'll have that same type of 90s earnestness and heart, but with an opposite (and happier) concept, her not losing her parents, but finding them for the first time...
The story is great too! I hope they'll not cancel this one.

I was fully prepared to SLATE this for taking Gossip Girls time slot BUT it actually looks awesome. Good concept with a lot of potential, whether they can make it last 12 episodes is questionable but I'll watch anyway.

a lot of mothers and daughters are like that. especially if the mother had the daughter really young, as is the case with this show. people used to say that a lot about my mom and older sister. she had her when she was 23, but she's always looked young for her age.

They should give it a shot, the only 2 good shows on CW are Supernatural and Smallville, but Smallville is close to the end and Supernatural is excellent but I need another show to watch on CW to acompany Supernatural and Smallville..hopefully this is it

Ps They are called actors for a reason they are not their characters and they play more than one type in other projects. Just cuz they play one charcter for example SA as Liz does not mean that what type she goin to play all the type cuz its not her I suggest lookin up defination of actor/actress. jst saying
