गाथा सुनाता हूं उस वीर की
शत्रु जिसके बाणों से कराहते थे,
केवल कृष्ण की ना बात करो
स्वयं शिव उसे सराहते थे।
करूणा से भरा हृदय था जिसका
न तनिक भी मन में स्वार्थ था,
तीनो लोक में प्रशंसा पाने वाला
मेरे माधव का वो पार्थ था
रावण इंद्र थे पराजित जिनसे
3 करोड़ निवात कवचों पर अकेला ही वो भारी था,
अरे शिव को अपने धनुष से खींचने वाला
वो मेरा गांडीवधारी था।
योद्धा तो थे श्रेष्ठ बहुत
पर मैं क्यों अर्जुन अर्जुन गाता हूं,
महाभारत के उस महासमर से
चौदहवें दिन का वृतांत सुनाता हूं।
अभिमन्यु की निर्मम हत्या से
अर्जुन की भीषण हुंकार हुई,
सूर्यास्त कल का नहीं देखेगा जयद्रथ
गांडीव की भयंकर टंकार हुई।
अर्जुन की प्रतिज्ञा से
धरती उस दिन कांप गई,
रणभूमि में होने वाले तांडव को
कुरु सेना थी भांप गई।
रूद्र तांडव जैसा उस दिन
युद्ध बड़ा ही क्रूर था,
श्रेष्ठ योद्धा होने का उस दिन
कईयों का वहम भी दूर था।
कौरव योद्धा लगे विचारने
कैसा भयंकर क्षण होगा,
जब अर्जुन उतरेगा रणभूमि में
जीवन नहीं मरण होगा।
अब सुनो कैसा भीषण रक्तपात हुआ
अगले दिन जब शंखनाद हुआ,
कुरुओं के भाग्य थे फूट पड़े
अर्जुन और सात्यकी उन पर टूट पड़े
घोर गर्जना करता अर्जुन
भयभीत सृष्टि का खंड खंड था,
कुरु योद्धाओं में हाहाकार मची थी
वेग पार्थ का ऐसा प्रचंड था।
धर्मराज की रक्षा हेतु
सात्यकी को पड़ा वापस जाना था,
पार्थ के उस रौद्र रूप से मुश्किल फिर भी
जयद्रथ का बच पाना था।
सभी व्यूह ध्वस्त होते जाते थे
पंचतत्व भी जयगान अर्जुन का ही तो गाते थे,
चक्रसप्तसूची व्यूह भी असफल से हो जाते हैं
जब क्रुद्ध होकर नर नारायण युद्ध भूमि में आते हैं।
जब दो प्रहर के युद्ध के कारण,
अश्व नहीं चल पाए थे,
तब सब्यसाची युद्ध करने
उतर धरा पर आए थे।
रथ विहीन पार्थ देखकर
हर महारथी उससे लड़ने आया था,
बिना रथ के भी उस दिन कोई
ना पार्थ को जीत पाया था।
सभी एक साथ मिलकर भी ना
धनंजय को जीत पाए थे,
यूं ही नहीं शांति सभा में परशुराम ने
जयगान अर्जुन के गाए थे।
रथविहीन होकर भी पार्थ
सभी महारथियों पर भारी था,
अरे गौर से सुन लो कथा ये बंधु
कैसा मेरा गांडीवधारी था।
अब आगे का वृतांत सुनाता हूं
जब दुर्योधन पार्थ समक्ष आया था,
गुरु द्रोण ने रक्षा हेतु
ब्रह्म कवच पहनाया था।
फिर अब अर्जुन अपने अग्रज से बोले
व्यर्थ में ही आज प्राण अपने गंवाओगे,
ये द्यूत नहीं है समरांगण है
मेरे हाथों मारे जाओगे।
ब्रह्म कवच जैसे संकट को भी
जिष्णु ने फिर टाला था,
अपने तीव्र बाणों से उसने
खुद के अग्रज को बींध डाला था।
फिर दुर्योधन संग अश्वत्थामा
वृषसेन शल्य और भूरिश्रवा आए,
पार्थ संग युद्ध करने हेतु
कृपाचार्य और कर्ण को भी थे वो लाए।
सभी मिलकर भी ना जीत सके फाल्गुन को
फिर दुशासन और सिंधु राज जुड़े,
पर गांडीव का प्रचंड वेग देखकर
हर योद्धा के थे होश उड़े।
सब ने मिलकर कुछ हद तक
किया कृष्णार्जुन को घायल था,
अरे समरांगण नहीं सृष्टि का कण-कण
मेरे पार्थ का उस दिन कायल था।
अंगराज को जब रथ विहीन किया तो
अश्वत्थामा को आना पड़ा,
परास्त होकर जिष्णु से अंगराज को
अश्वत्थामा संग रणभूमि से जाना पड़ा।
सूर्य ढलने को आया था
पर पार्थ का शौर्य अभी भी जारी था,
अरे 8 महारथी जिससे डरकर भागे जिससे
वो मेरा गांडीवधारी था।
अर्जुन गिराने लगे ज्यों शीश सिंधु राज का
माधव बोले पार्थ तनिक विचार करो,
व्यर्थ अपना बलिदान देकर
ना पांडव सेना को लाचार करो।
ज्यों धरा पर गिरा शीश सिंधुराज का
अनर्थ प्रचंड हो जाएगा,
वृद्धक्षत्र के वरदान के कारण
तुम्हारा मस्तक खंड खंड हो जाएगा।
तब विभत्सु ने क्रोध में आकर
समस्त रण क्षेत्र को हिला दिया,
और जयद्रथ का शीश उन्होंने
पिता वृद्धक्षत्र की गोद में था गिरा दिया।
अब पूछता हूं उन योद्धाओं से
जिन्होंने खुद को पार्थ से श्रेष्ठ बताया था,
क्यों अर्जुन के भय के कारण तुमने
सिंधुराज को छुपाया था।
अरे श्रेष्ठ होते तो जाकर सीधे
पार्थ की छाती पर तन जाते तुम,
योद्धाओं की भांति युद्ध को करते
ना सिंधुराज को छुपाते तुम।
अरे धर्म की खातिर लड़ा सदा ही
ना श्रेष्ठ कभी खुद को बताता था,
युद्ध कौशल को देख स्वयं इंद्र जिसके आगे
नतमस्तक हो जाता था।
हर धर्म परायण व्यक्ति जिसका
सदा ही आभारी था,
अरे योद्धाओं में सबसे उच्च
वो मेरा गांडीवधारी था, वो मेरा गांडिवधारी था।

अर्जुन अंहकारी था। अर्जुन का अंहकार हनुमानजी ने तोड़ा था । कर्ण को अपने सामर्थ्य पर अंहकार नहीं था । कर्ण के bagravastra ko देखकर अर्जुन रनभुमि से भागा । अर्जुन ने कहा था इस शस्त्र का प्रतिकार करना impossible है । In 11 day of war कर्ण के तीरो से अर्जुन का रथ 3 अंगुल पिछे जाता जबकि अर्जुन के तीरो से कर्ण का रथ 7 foot पिछे जाता था । तब भगवान Krishna कर्ण को कहते वहा कर्ण वहा जबकि अर्जुन तीर मारते तब भगवान Krishna कहते अर्जुन के रथ पर स्वयं में और हनुमानजी है उनके बावजूद कर्ण अर्जुन के रथ को 3 अंगुल पिछे कर रहा । कर्ण के रथ पर कर्ण के अलावा कोई भी नही है । सोच अर्जुन यदि में और हनुमानजी न होते। तो कर्ण तेरी क्या गति करता। स्वयं भगवान Krishna ने कर्ण को श्रेष्ठ कहा था। virat yudh mein Mein bhi arjun me rath par hanumanji the jabki Karna ke pas uska विजय घनुष भी नही था । तभी उसकी पराजय हुई ।

3. His own son beat him brutally in a one-to-one battle and beheaded him in front of the whole world ?
4. Srikrishna had to keep him protected till the time Karn had his Vasavi Shakti in his quiver ?
5. Srikrishna had to protect him from Shrutayudh's divine mace which was given to him by Varundeva ?
6. Srikrishna had to protect him from King Susharma when he was fighting the Sanshaptakas and Susharma's 3 powerful arrows had penetrated his chest ?
7. Srikrishna had to take out his Sudarshan Chakra to kill Pitamah Bheeshma when Arjun was unable to face Bheeshma's wrath ?
8. Pitamah Bheeshma was killed by deciet ?

17 When Karna, on 17th Day of Mahabharat war captured Yudhishthir alive ?
- As per rules of War in that era, Pandavas had lost the war the moment Yudhishthir was captured alive by Karna. Had Karna not let Yudhishthir go alive, the question of Pandavas winning the war would never have arised.
18 Inspite of his Gandiv Arjun was unable to reach till Jayadrath and Srikrishna had to help him with his Sudarshan Charkra and his Maya in order to bring Jayadrath out of the Kaurav Army formation ? Else Arjun was sure to die that day.
If Arjun was so great a warrior and unbeatable by all means, even one of the above would never have happened.
Arjun was fighting with his Gandiv bow which itself was 1 lakh times more powerful than any ordinary bow and all his adversaries including Pitamah Bheeshma, Guru Dron and Maharathi Karn, his son Babhruwahan were fighting with their ordinary bows and yet each one of them made his life tough in each of their encounters and Babhruwahan actually beat him brutally and finally beheaded hi m in front of everyone.
Nikumbh rakshas and Nag-kanya Ulupi actually forcefully kidnapped him when he had his Gandiv at his disposal.
Why were Karna's divine Kavach and Kundal taken away from him by deciet ? Why did Indra beg for those Kavach and Kundal from Karna ?
All these points only point towards one thing. Arjun was not so great as you people project him so. Infact, it was Karna who was a better warrior than Arjun and Arjun won the war only because Bhagwan Srikrishna was protecting him at all times.

Those are the stupid Arjun fans who think that Arjun was the strongest and most invincible warrior of his time.
Bheeshm, Dron and Karn were definitely capable of defeating and killing Arjun in the war and Arjun's life was saved by Bhagwan Srikrishna several times during the war itself.
Thanks for agreeing with me on my view-point that Arjun was not the best warrior of his time.

Karna was defeated several times by arjun he was also defeated by bheem in archery fight though bheem is not so good at archery.
Karna was defeated by king of gandhrava in gandhrva war and ran away like a little girl from war at that time arjun saved whole army of kuru.
In virat war Arjuna defeated whole army of kaurav including Big warriors like bhishma,ashwathhama,drona single handedly.
Arjun was praised by shiva,parshuram, Indra etc.

Arjun had his prowess only due to Bhagwan Srikrishna's grace and when Bhagwan Srikrishna ended his avatar, Arjun got brutally man-handled in the hands of ordinary Kiratas.
- This proves that his prowess was not his, but was a gift of Bhagwan Srikrishna's grace.
Rather Arjun sat on the lap of Bhagwan Srikrishna all of his life and thought - He was the best, which was absolutely untrue.
